Going back to the early 1900s, Eugenia Duke crafted the perfect mayonnaise to add to her delicious sandwiches. After using her mayo on the many sandwiches she sold to soldiers in boot camp, Eugenia decided to embark on an entrepreneurial venture that would change her brand forever. In 1923, she chose to bottle her mayo, which would allow the flavorful condiment to be purchased by more hungry customers.
