The Date Lady Food and Cooking Products Offer Arabic Delicacies to the American Market
The Date Lady was established in May 2012 with a mission to bring date syrup, a popular Middle Eastern sweetener, to the American market. Founders Ryan and Colleen Sundlie discovered date syrup at a local market in Al Ain, UAE where they lived so Ryan could teach at the United Arab Emirates University. When they came back to the US, they realized the only way they could keep enjoying date syrup was to make it themselves, and their personal passion developed into their business.
