This VacPak-It 186PSEALBAR5 12" seal bar is a direct replacement for the one that came with your VMC12OP, VMC12DPU, and UVMC12 vacuum packaging machine. Over time, the seal bar needs to be replaced to ensure secure, consistent sealing. This replacement bar helps keep your machine running like new, even after regular use in a busy commercial setting. The seal bar uses high heat to quickly fuse the plastic sides of a vacuum packaging bag together, so if it wears out and you notice that you are not getting an adequate seal, it may be necessary to replace this component. Replacing the seal bar is fast and easy - just press down on the old bar to release it and then snap the new bar in place.
