These pens write really smoothly, which is great when you're writing as much as an actuarial student like myself. (The different colors help me remember formulas better.) They write pretty dark without bleeding through regular computer paper or smudging (I'm left handed.) The colors are bold, and mostly easily distinguishable between each other. The orange is surprisingly dark and easy to read, however, the pink is a bit too light for my taste. The green is like a jungle green, not lime green. There are 2 shades of blue, which are not as easy to distinguish. (The light blue should be more neon in my opinion.)
