This malt adds a very light golden color to your finished beers for a pleasant appearance. It can be used as up to 100% of the base malt for any style of beer where you want to add a delicately malty flavor.

This malt has 4% moisture and an 80% yield on grind. It has a diastatic power of 130.3 degrees Lintner, making it suitable for converting starch to sugar during the mashing process. This malt is not caramelized or roasted and yields an SRM of 1.8, so it's ideal for brewing very light colored beers.
