The outer shell has a flame-retardant design for worry-free use, and it provides a liquid and vapor barrier, which won't lose its protective nature if exposed to temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit for 24 hours. This glove even protects when wet! The palm area is designed to handle heat up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
