If you notice your True refrigeration equipment isn't cooling down to the right temperature, you might need a new temperature control. The True 988283 temperature control accurately senses the air temperature within the cabinet and adjusts the cooling cycles as needed. With properly functioning temperature control, your unit will maintain food-safe holding temperatures and also run more efficiently.

Dial Control

The dial allows users to control the interior temperature of the unit. Once the desired level is chosen, the thermostat will maintain the holding temperature inside the cabinet.

Direct Replacement

The 988283 temperature control kit is a direct replacement for the one that came with select True refrigeration units. It replaces the old kit 800393. Use it to do a complete replacement on a malfunctioning thermostat and keep your unit running like the first day you bought it!

Capillary

The capillary senses air temperature changes inside the refrigeration cabinet and activates the thermostat.

Complete Assembly

This 8A replacement kit includes the temperature controller, 2 blue terminal connectors, dial knob, and screws.
