Designed to absorb excess water created by thermal expansion, this tank has a 2-gallon capacity with a durable 16-gauge cold rolled steel shell and high-quality, corrosion-resistant external urethane paint coating. This tank helps to prevent pressure build-up and maintain safe pressures in your water heating system.

This tank has a stainless steel 3/4" MIP connection with hex and stainless steel nipple to prevent corrosion. Plus, the heavy-duty 100% butyl rubber diaphragm and plastic liner help to separate the system water from the tank’s air charge. This unit is factory pre-charged at 40 PSI and is field-adjustable to a maximum PSI of 150. It also has a maximum temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. This water heater thermal expansion tank is perfect for protecting your water heater, appliances, and fixtures.
