Quickly and easily kill ants, fire ants, cockroaches, fleas, and other insects with this Terro T901-6 3 lb. ant killer plus. This ant killer keeps insects out. Use it as perimeter treatment around foundations and on lawns, or as a spot treatment on ant hills. The convenient, resealable shaker bag requires no spreader to dispense. To use, simply open the top, grab the bottom of the bag, and start spreading the ant killer granules. No chemical spreader is needed! The powerful formula kills listed insect pests such as fleas and other small insects on contact, killing ants and cockroaches within 24 hours, while also providing residual repellency. For outdoor use only.
Apply the granules in a three to ten foot band along the foundation and water immediately after for increased effectiveness. For non-fire ant mounds, apply one to two teaspoons of the granules and water immediately after. For fire ant mounds, apply a half cup of granules over the mound and 2 feet around it; applying a minimum of one gallon of water to each mound area.

I bought this as a "treat" for the fireants in my yard. Usually I'm a "live and let live" kind of gal, but the HOA doesn't see it that way as it pertains to my weeds, and the ants get kinda irritable with me when I tear their 'castle' apart to dig out the offending weeds, so I imagined their delight to see morsals of "food" rain down from the sky like mana. They were first confused at the intrusion, and then gleeful as they sniffed at, and then carried the morsals away as tribute to their queen. Sooo as far as this ant killer goes, it is easy to dispense because its got this handy "screen" built into the bag to prevent you from dumping all 3lbs on a single pile accidentally. It eliminates a great deal many types of ants and pests, including the *cringe* Florida Palmetto Bug.
