Taylor TS32 32 oz. Mechanical Portion Control Scale

I’d avoid this one. Right out of the box it was junk. When you zero it out the needle lands in a new spot every time no matter what you do. Which makes it useless when you don’t really know what something weighs.

I don't know why I keep buying these scales. It's clearly the BRAND, because I don't have the same issues I do with the others. I just opened a new box from an order I placed a few weeks ago and the tuning knob on the back will NOT allow me to move the red arrow/line to the left. I can only adjust to the RIGHT. The problem is the arrow/line is STUCK on the 5 oz position already to the RIGHT! There's no way to bring it back to the center!! In the past, I've actually had to take these apart to try to adjust them internally, and it's a pain the butt! And it's never perfect! These things aren't cheap in price, but they're cheap in quality! I'm returning the one I just opened right now... Such a waste of time!

When it says mechanical portion control it means it isn't automatic or electronic. I prefer it that way. You don't get scaling errors or have the need to reset to zero. We portion and bag our veggie sides with this and it's perfect. Hasn't failed us yet.

The scale is nice but I messed up when I bought it. I forgot to include the weight of my container when I measure things. This resulted in the scale not having enough capacity. I kept it too close to something warm and the plastic disc melted which caused it problems. It worked well for what it was when it had life.

Our food production kitchen own a couple of the 50 lb portion control scales. We use them to to weigh bulk ingredients. They are very sturdy and good quality.

Excellent Taylor scale. It is very durable and easy to clean. We use it daily and never have any problem so far. It is small enough to fit with small kitchen.

The Taylor TS5 5lb. mechanical portion control scale works great! It's the only tool we use every day to make our cupcakes with. Highly recommended.

Not great this didnt last long, the metal is thin and cheap and the dial moves with slightest touch or bump, hard to repeat purchase on this I will pay extra for the durable bigger better model.

I bought the Taylor 32 oz scale to replace my old one that we've been using for some years now. I have no problems with this item, good quality!

This thing is trash. It's not accurate or consistent. Stay away. I ended up tossing it and buying a different one after 9 months of use. I guess you get what you pay for.

We have a few of these floating around our bakery. The staff love them. They seem to be very accurate and are of high quality.

Great scale for keeping portion control throughout your food service. Compact and lightweight. Easy to calibrate, clean and store. Easy to read numbers ensure accuracy every time. Excellent for larger portioning.

This scale lasts us a very long time and we use it constantly weighing seafood to order at a busy seafood restaurant. Taylor has the best in my opinion

Great scale for a good price. I bought this just to have a third in the kitchen. It was cheaper then the other two but is better in quality. It feels sturdy and well build. Should one of the other two break I will be buying another.

Perfect scale for any restaurant operation. Takes up very little space, high quality, affordable, easy to work with, and incredibly accurate! Can't go wrong! Highly recommend!

Albeit, it has its issues, this scale has probably outlasted more beatings than any other mechanical scale I have worked with. The dial does catch the measurement hand now, but still works!

looks like a solid scale but after using it for a week I have found that it doesn't tare out evenly and i am never sure if it is an accurate weight. i do not doubt that it is a good scale but it might have gotten damaged in the shipment process as the carrier that sent it did not seem to care what was inside the box. (it wasn't delivered in good shape!) going to keep playing with it and hopefully i can get it to work consistently but returns are a hassle and it looks like I am out forty bucks and change . . .

Really good and sturdy scale. It is made out of a good sturdy material that is easy to clean so don't have to worry if putting food on it.

Great Taylor scale , we use it at our pizzeria and we love it , easy to read , bold numbers and colors , really easy to clean .
