Ensure the productivity and efficiency of your kitchen with this Southbend GSX-10HE-SB 10-pan liquid propane high-efficiency convection floor steamer! Designed for reliable, high-efficiency steam cooking of vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, and poultry, this satin-finished stainless steel steamer features 2 cooking chambers and a 24" wide x 28" high steam generator base that houses the drain box and deliming ports at the front of each generator for easy tank cleaning. The base features separate generators for each chamber. This steamer features an automatic water-fill mechanism that fills and heats when the unit is switched on, and an automatic blowdown valve for draining.

This floor steamer features (2) 1-piece, all-welded 316 stainless steel cooking chambers designed for maximum heat retention, with coved corners for easy cleaning. Each of the chambers is designed to hold (10) 1" deep full-size food pans, (5) 2 1/2" deep full-size food pans, (3) 4" full-size food pans, or (2) 6" food pans (sold separately) for double the cooking capacity. This steamer features (2) heavy-duty stainless steel doors with steel inner liners and welded steel outer liners, full-perimeter gasket seals, and positive lock-and-seal mechanisms with spring releases. Each chamber features a ready pilot light and a cooking pilot light, and a 60-minute cooking timer with an audible signal that sounds at the end of the cooking cycle. When the hinged doors are open, steam generation is interrupted for safety, a cold water condenser helps condense the steam before draining, and a stainless steel drip trough connected to the drain collects and removes condensate to ensure a clean, drip-free workspace. Steam generation is reactivated when the chamber doors are closed.

This steamer is designed for convenience and easy installation with independent controls for each chamber, including an illuminated 3-way power switch with on, off, and de-lime settings, as well as pilot-ready lights, pilot-cooking lights, ignition lights, and a 60-minute electric timer for each chamber that sounds an audible signal when the cooking cycle ends. It features a single drain connection with a thermostatically controlled drain and a split water connection for simple connection with the unit's water treatment system. It also features removable stainless steel pan supports for easy cleaning, a safety relief valve, and a drain tempering system with a 140-degree temperature requirement that makes this steamer an ideal option for fast-paced commercial kitchens.

This convection steamer features a durable stainless steel steam generator cabinet base with solid-state controls and an electronic ignition for each generator. It also features stainless steel legs with adjustable, flanged feet for stability with a 1 1/4" range. The unit is made with a stainless steel control housing with a full-access, removable left-side access panel compartment for easy maintenance. For enhanced versatility and customization when creating delicious meals, this unit is compatible with select Southbend timers, shelves, casters, and other accessories (sold separately). This steamer is AGA- and CGA-certified, it generates 190,000 BTU of power, it features a 6' power cord, and it requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
