This fryer cleaner is premeasured into a 2.25 oz. tablet so you don't have to measure a powder or liquid every time you clean the fryer. This means you can enjoy a consistently spotless tank without using more cleaner than needed. Simply drop in the tablet and you're good to go! The low-foaming formula effectively reduces boil over to eliminate fear of a messy cleanup.
Instructions for Fryer Cleaning
1. Wear high heat protective rubber gloves and protective eyeglasses.
2. Drain and filter out oil.
3. Remove any solid particles from the fryer.
4. Close the drain valve.
5. Place tablet in the bottom of the fryer.
6. Fill the fryer with water just under the fill line. Bring this water to a boil.
7. Boil water for 15 minutes then turn off the heat.
8. Drain water into a mop bucket.
9. Rinse fryer with a vinegar/water solution (1 cup vinegar, 1 gallon water).
10. Wipe the solution from the fryer completely and return filtered oil.
Instructions for Floor Drain Pipe Cleaning
1. Sweep floor completely, removing all food particles and debris.
2. Wear high heat protective rubber gloves and protective eyeglasses.
3. Drain and filter out oil.
4. Remove any solid particles from the fryer.
5. Close the drain valve.
6. Place tablet in the bottom of the fryer.
7. Fill the fryer with water just under the fill line. Bring this water to a boil.
8. Boil water for 15 minutes then turn off the heat.
9. Drain boiling water into a mop bucket.
10. Completely cover floor area to be cleared with hot water from the mop bucket.
11. For best results let stand for 5 minutes.
12. Go back over the area to be cleaned and scrub with a mop or brush.
13. Always mop or squeegee, directing water to the floor drains.
14. Hose down floor thoroughly with hot water toward floor drains.
15. Mop or squeegee dry.

Was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Swell cleaner we use now. While this product stayed true to it's word and did not boil over, it also did not clean the fryer. At first glance it "looked" like it was clean, but even after repeated rinsing there was still a "grime" on the inside of the fryer. Wiping it was like trying to clean automotive grease off glass using only your finger. The Swell took it right off. If this is the product you are using, I'd bet your fryer isn't as clean as it could be. I may try the rest as drain cleaner, but without a complete blockage, how can you tell if its actually doing anything...

This is the brand we keep returning to. We were looking at getting the powder in the big tub but the freight charge was out of control, so we are sticking with this one.
