I like to make my own pickled beets and eggs. It's sometimes hard to find whole beets. Just out of curiosity, I thought I would try Webstaurant. Boom...there they were.
The Furmano's whole beets are wonderful and the perfect size for our dishes. They are terrific for roasted and have a sugar sweet taste and tender texture.

The price point is good. But, quality control from the processor could be improved and seems inconsistent. Beets are a natural product and aren't the easiest to process in a uniform manner. For some cans we had go through and hand select beet slices. Some slices were woody and unappealing. Some cans have lots of small pieces.
