Sioux Chief 660-HB Details
Protect your plumbing with this Sioux Chief MiniRester water hammer arrestor. This size AA unit dissipates the calculated kinetic energy that is generated by quick-closing washing machine valves. This helps maintain the water pressure inside of pipes. It is designed to be installed on both hot and cold supply lines, and it does not require an access panel for installation.
This unit has an arrestor body made of 304 stainless steel with a machined brass tee body. The poly piston absorbs shock and has two EPDM O-rings for a secure seal. This model comes with 3/4" male hose thread connection on the trunk and a 3/4" female hose thread connection on the branch. It withstands temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, and it has a maximum working pressure of 250 PSIG. It is also burst tested for up to 1,500 PSIG.
