This easy-to-unwind masking tape has a blended, rubber-based adhesive of medium-high strength with a quick stick and great surface contact, which provides the tape staying power while also allowing for easy removal from a variety of surfaces. With a thickness of 4.9 mil and a tensile strength of 18 lb. per inch of width, this tape offers durability while still being easy to cut and apply. It has a 35 oz. per inch of width adhesion to stainless steel and elongation of 9.5%. Suitable for use in a variety of environments, this tape has a service temperature range from 60 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

The adhesive on this masking tape is very low strength. In fact, its surprising low strength with virtually zero grab ability. So if you have very delicate items that need to be taped, this is the masking tape for you. But don't count on it to stop paint bleed very well.
