I was so looking forward to these shellers arriving! I chose black and they are plastic but are heavy duty. I believe they will last a very long time. Bonus, 12 come in the pack at a great price!

This is a great tool to get your lobster meat and or crab meat out of the shell. It's a 7 1/2" Red seafood sheller and it does just that with ease.
This is a great little tool. I was very pleasantly surprised how nicely it worked for our all you can eat crab dinners.. they work better than any we have used before..
It's ok. I've had it for a while now, though I've used it less than ten times. But the smaller tip at the end broke off last time I used it while eating crab.
These are great at opening crab legs and our customers love them. Works like a letter opener. The only concern is that the tips tend to break at some point.

The 7 1/2" Red Seafood Sheller can also be used to open plastic bags. I seal a lot of bags with my impulse sealer so it is nice to be able to open the bags quickly with the sheller without having to use my teeth. The tip of the sheller works great for opening plastic bags. The item arrived a day in advance. I ordered and received the item in a few days. Didn't expect it that fast.
