The san jamar rapi-kool plus 128 oz. rapid cooling paddle is imperative to cool down food as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend this product.

I prefer this cool stick where the top comes off. Being able to add ice instead of waiting for the stick to freeze saves loads of time.

Make sure you follow instructions. Another way to cool down fast is to put the food item in smaller containers that you are using to put in freezer or the fridge if you don't have this product or use an ice bath. Very happy with it and purchased another one for backup and on days when I am ambitious and make more than one pot.

I learned how to cool hot items down without them destroying and spoiling things in my fridge and not make people sick from bacteria build up. If you are a home cook and make huge pots of soup, sauce, chili or whatever buy this product to help cool it down before you put it in fridge or freezer.

This product is needed in the soup kitchen where i work. we have to chill our food down to a certain temperature to keep it in the safe range. This enables us to cool it much quicker.

Can't go wrong with these ice paddles. We have multiple sizes and a couple of each size. They will shatter if dropped when filled with water and frozen, but not sure what product wouldn't.

Love this. Works great for cooling down stock. It's easy to clean too as it is dishwasher safe. My only downside to it is that it is hard to open to clean and refill. But I imagine it kind of has to be so that it doesn't leak.

These things have made a huge difference in how my staff approach cooling food properly. They work well, wash easily, and hold up well to multiple uses.

We use these every day to cool down soups and broth rapidly before putting into the cooler. They clean up easily and fit in the dishwasher and easily lay flat in the freezer to re-ice up.

These are excellent for cooling large stock pots. We used about 4 of these to cool a 33 gallon stock pot. It reduced cooling time by half. Would recommend buying the caps for these as the handle make the entire thing hard to store into freezer.

These rapid chill paddles by carlise are a must for every kitchen. I fill mine with water and hang it up in the freezer. Does a great job on cooking large batches of food.

The only ice wands I will ever buy! these stand up to much heavier use than any others we have tried. It also comes in very handy that the opening is big enough that you can fill them with ice cubes.

Easy to use, and simple to assemble, disassemble and clean. Easily fit even in a home freezer, and chilled hot soup quickly. Wide opening for filling is great.

This is my first time with an ice wand. It works amazing with cooling down soups and chili. We actually use this to cool our rice faster to prevent it from over cooking. Try cooking rice, as soon as its cooked, speed out onto a large sheet pan and p;and ice wand over top.

This designed is great for anyone with limited freezer room. This is do to the fact that you can easily put ice and water in it rather than having to freezing the whole thing with water in it. These really work the best for cooling any liquid fast and safely.

Great option to quick chill large batches of soups and stocks, large enough to fit in tall pot or container. the large mouth allows you to use ice to fill as an alternative to freezing.

Great small cooling paddle for rapid cooling leftover soup without having to put it in the shock freezer. Sturdy and durable and the perfect size that doesn't take up too much space in the freezer when not in use.

The Rapi-Kool is a great tool. We need to quickly cool sauce at the end of the night and this does the trick. Best part is, you can't find it cheaper any where else.

We don't have an ice machine, so these are critical for bringing down the temp of stocks, soups and left-overs quickly and safely. I like the new cap style that hangs easily from metro-shelving in the freezer, keeping them clean and sanitary for putting in food. We had one break once, but it was quickly replaced for free and all the rest have been very durable.
