Make sure your potatoes are peeled quickly and with a minimum of waste by completing your prep line with this Sammic PI-20 44 lb. potato peeler! Designed to handle up to 44 lb. of potatoes in one cycle, this potato peeler is ideal for higher volume restaurants, healthcare facilities, or schools that process fresh potatoes for use in mashed potatoes, stews, and other recipes.
The peeler is made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and it uses a strong, long-lasting silicon carbide abrasive lining on lateral stirrers within the chamber to quickly remove peels from potatoes, carrots, or similar vegetables. The aluminum base plate also has an abrasive lining and can be removed for more efficient cleaning.
This model has simple controls with an on/off switch, continuous function, and a 0-6 minute timer so you can choose the cycle time that you need. It is made to automatically direct waste to the drain during the cycle and it has a water inlet system with an air break. This unit requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
