This primer spray is recommended for use with Rust-Oleum Professional V2100 System rust-preventative enamel spray paint. It prepares surfaces like metal, steel, masonry, and wood for a protective enamel topcoat. This primer has a flat gray color to serve as a neutral base. Its advanced formula provides superior corrosion protection with easy one-coat coverage.
This primer offers practical coverage of approximately 12 to 20 sq. ft. per can. It resists corrosion, chipping, cracking, and peeling and withstands heat of up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. It is easy to apply with a high-output tip that offers 50% faster coverage. Plus, it dries to the touch in only 20 minutes. This primer can also be used as a touch-up paint with the Rust-Oleum 7400 or V7400 System. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact, and it is VOC-compliant.
