These flutes are nicer than many, but aren't as thin or as polished as I would like. The design of the stem is good, and there are no seams between the stem and the bowl. However, the rim has a small bead and the glass is thicker than I look for in a champagne flute. Compared to previous Libbey Prism wine glasses I purchased a year ago which were excellent, these are thicker and slightly less refined in feel and appearance. These aren't bad glasses, but they aren't the right fit for me. For the price, I'd want something thinner and without a beaded rim.
