Durable Construction

The cabinet features a fully welded design to provide maximum durability, while the open back and ventilation slits built into the sides promote proper airflow. The sides, 15 degree angled top, and storage shelf are all made from 18-gauge type 304 stainless steel, while the bottom and door use type 430 stainless steel (22-gauge on the door, 18-gauge on the bottom). And since the sink is made from 16-gauge, type 304 stainless steel, it provides excellent durability and corrosion resistance where it's needed most.

Wall-Mounted Faucet

The included wall-mounted faucet boasts a heavy chrome-plated brass construction and includes built-in service stops. Plus, its vacuum breakers help prevent water backflow, ensuring proper functioning in your establishment.

Keeps Supplies Organized

The interior of the cabinet also helps to keep you organized with a mop holder for each side and a stainless steel storage shelf for keeping all of your gloves, cleaning products, and other commonly used supplies close at hand. The door features a recessed handle and comes with a lock and key to keep the cabinet's contents secure when not being used.

Frequently Asked Questions From Customers

How do you snake out a commercial floor sink?
To snake out a commercial floor sink, put on leather work gloves and remove the drain cap. Plumbing snakes usually come in several sizes, so begin by using the smallest snake first. Insert the business end of the snake into the drain and feed it into the drain as far as it will go. Usually, you will feel when it hits the clog. Push the snake further into the clog and start turning the handle. Once the water drains, you know that the clog is gone. If the water isn’t draining, try a bigger snake. After the clog is removed, pull the snake out and pour a half-gallon of hot water down the drain to wash away any remaining residue.
Janitorial staff use mop sinks to fill and empty mop buckets and clean mops and other supplies. Typically, commercial mop sinks are mounted on the floor.

Regency Stainless Steel Gauge and Type Selections

The gauge and type of any stainless steel product can drastically change its use and application. Watch this video to learn more about Regency stainless steel!

Regency Tables and Sinks. Stainless Steel Gauge and Type Selections.

Regency offers stainless steel in a variety of gauges and types that correspond to different levels of strength and durability. By understanding the gauge and type, you can easily determine what equipment is best for your application.

Regency stainless steel is available in three gauges: 14, 16, and 18. Gauge refers to the thickness of the metal, with the thickest being the lowest number and therefore the strongest. That makes 14 gauge stainless steel thicker than 16 or 18 gauge stainless steel. This also means that 14 gauge is heavy-duty, 16 gauge is standard-duty, and 18 gauge is light-duty.

Types of stainless steel include 304 and 430. Type refers to the chemical make-up of the material. Heavy- and standard-duty products are available in type 304 stainless steel, as it contains both chromium and nickel for corrosion-resistance. Select light-duty products also come in type 304, while the rest are made with type 430 stainless steel. This type contains chromium and no nickel, offering less corrosion-resistance than type 304. 430 stainless steel is also magnetic, which can be a nice added benefit while you're working.

Once you determine the optimal gauge and type for your business, shop Regency for stainless steel equipment of all sizes and configurations.

Without Faucet

We installed this mop sink in January 2024 and by August 2024 is has rust and corrosion all over it. The walls are supposed to be 304 stainless (medium grade) and the sink and door 430 grade (low grade). The sink, door, and hinges have the worst rust. The sides and top have less rust. The location is in Fort Myers, FL 10+ miles from the ocean so its not salty air causing this. We have 304 stainless throughout the property in other locations with little to no rust that are much older. I suspect that metal may not be the grade that is advertised. I spoke with Webstaurant who said 90 day warranty only. There is a version of this sink that is all "300 grade" stainless. Not sure what that means, I would assume 304 grade. Almost Read More

Thank you for your review, James! Salty air can corrode metals within the distance that you describe in your review, and while 304 stainless steel does have increased corrosion resistance, this type does not guarantee protection against salt corrosion, especially in outdoor installations. 316 stainless steel is generally recommended as a better choice for optimal corrosion-resistance in these environments.
