Regal Caraway Seed - 8 oz. - 12/Case

My family is moving to Germany next year, so I’ve been looking into authentic German recipes so I can learn how to make dishes before we get there. I was thrilled to find out Webstaurant sells this popular German spice because their bulk spices always cost less than the tiny jars I get at the grocery store. My first recipe I use with this will be an attempt at German Chicken Spaetzle.

I ferment my own vegetables at home and sauerkraut with caraway seeds is my all time favorite. Nothing like real fermented sauerkraut. At a high price for a small bottle in the local market I would spend a lot every time I made fresh sauerkraut. Then I came across this bulk 32oz container at an excellant price. So happy to have the option of buying my spices in bulk. Thank you for offering an excellant product for the home chef at a great value.

Stays fresh for a LONG time. Which is great, because this is quite a bit of caraway, even in a restaurant setting.

Best caraway bread seeds I've used. Aroma and flavors hold up very well. Heated up in a pan of brats and kruat is A-1 superb.

We go through this stuff with our classic rye bread, especially around St Patricks Day. A lot of orders for bread and the bulk caraway helps keep up with the holiday demand.

these caraway seeds are an excellent value for the price.....however i bought these as a follow-on from a 1 lb caraway seed purchase i made at another store....these regal caraway seeds are less than half the price but they lack pungency and they are very bland in flavor and are quite a let down....frankly i expect that when i uncap a huge container of caraway seeds that the caraway fragrance will rush out and fill the room, and that is certainly not the case with these regal seeds which have not much more fragrance than an equal quantity of poppy seeds. I use them whole and ground up in rye bread and the taste they add is more bitter than caraway.... I wouldn't buy these again...i'd pay more for a smaller quantity that had more pungent caraway aroma and flavor.

These are great. We’ve been using these seeds in our kraut and our corned beef spice blend for years now. I love the smell every time you open the container.

These caraway seeds are perfect for the deli-style rye bread we make. The recipe calls for both whole and ground caraway, and these add such a wonderful, earthy flavor to our loaves. There is no doubt, as it's baking, that it's a rye bread!

Fresh seeds with their unique caraway flavor. No stems mixed in. The seeds are of a quality that they can be sprinkled on top as garnish to stews and baked goods.

Caraway is great in bread and when I make sauerkraut. The smell will leave your whole house smelling great. This is of excellent quality and I will purchase again.

Love Regal brand! We buy spices often time from Webstaurant because the price for the quantity is very hard to beat. Some of our local distributors also sell the spices that we need, but at a higher price point than Webstaurant does, so I am glad they carry these products.

Top notch caraway seeds if you like them a bit on the sweet side. They have a nice sweet vegetable taste along with the anise-rye flavor they normally have. You should try them.
