**Review: Disappointing Durability of the Rational 60.73.314 Diamond Cross and Stripe Grill Grate** As a long-time user of Rational Cooking Center products, I’ve always trusted their equipment to deliver high performance and durability. However, my experience with the Rational 60.73.314 Diamond Cross and Stripe Grill Grate has been disappointing. After regular use, the grill grate has shown severe signs of wear and damage. The coating has chipped off, the surface is visibly degraded, and parts of the structure have broken, rendering it unusable. Additionally, uneven heating and possible overexposure to high temperatures have caused discoloration and warping. For a product marketed as durable and professional-grade, this level of damage is unacceptable. It appears the materials and design are not fully compatible with the high demands of professional kitchens or the Rational Cooking Center’s capabilities. Rational should address these issues by improving the grate’s materials and providing clearer guidelines for use. Until then, I would advise caution when considering this accessory for your kitchen. It falls short of the quality I’ve come to expect from Rational.
