I bought this a few months ago. Definitely worth getting. Looking to purchase another one. It would be nice if there were off brand cheaper bags though. Vacuum is expensive but this is the cheapest place to buy it.

We're a com/res cleaning company, so we need the best in a vacuum. While the Progen is clearly very durable, comfortable in use, and well constructed, it's performance is sorely lacking. I contacted Proteam with direct comparison to various other vacuums in our fleet, and got no real response as to whether the unit is a lemon, or if this is expected performance. Basically, there are design flaws in the suction path whereby air leakage is an issue, as well as an exaggerated rating of the actual vacuum motor performance. Proteam claims around 100 cfm and over 90 in static vacuum, which is really close to our old Rubbermaid backpacks. There is absolutely no way the Proteam does these numbers.
