We recently decided to try this syrup, having previously purchased the Torani Blackberry, and wow! The flavor is bold and fruity. With certain brands, berry flavors seem to carry an aftertaste that is almost medicinal, like cough syrup. Not this one, it’s purely fruity! It seems to go really well with other syrups with a nutty or sweet flavor profile.

The DaVinci Blackberry syrup was good, but not the best I've had. While it had a good blackberry flavor, it was missing the tartness that I had come to expect from homemade and even some other blackberry syrups. In addition the concentration level is lacking. You end up adding quite a bit more then what you want/need to get the flavor you want, but by then it's much MUCH too sweet. Personally will be passing on this syrup for future orders.

I would really recommend this syrup. It has a great taste that isn't artificial. This DaVinci syrup isn't overly sweet like others. It's perfect for flavored lemonades.

5 Stars all the way. I'm definitely more of a DaVinci fan than Torani. Once I was out of blackberry syrup and had bought the Torani Blackberry at the grocery store. Definitely not as good, the Torani had a very syrupy, fake taste.
