Reviews for Choice 9, 12, 16, 20, and 24 oz. Clear Flat Lid with Straw Slot - 50/Pack

Our shop has ordered these lids several times in the past and they were always great, but the last time we ordered the lids no longer fit tightly on the cup, the straw slots are difficult to push a straw through. Because of the loose fit, every beverage using these lids leak. Please fix these lids. I have thousands of plastic cups in my shop that I cannot use right now because I refuse to serve customers beverages that will leak on their hands and clothes.

I've used these same lids since I started my business over 2 years ago. However, the most recent box I received was clearly sub-par in terms of quality. The manufacturer is skimping on the plastic. The lids are noticeably thinner, they stick together, and they don't fit well over the cup rims. I've had to throw away about 25% of them after struggling with them while customers wait. It's totally ridiculous.

Wish I had read the recent reviews! These lids do not attach securely to cups and leak everywhere!

The lids don't fit properly and are too loose and these cups are super flimsy + thin. We've had endless drops, spills + leaks with these cups + lids-no matter what we try. We hope to receive some response from you.

I guess you get what you pay for it very very thin also the lids tend to stick to each other and I'll find myself accidentally placing two on a customers cup but it only feels like one anyway inevitably you end up using more

These lids can be hit or miss—sometimes they fit perfectly, other times they’re too loose for the cups they’re meant for. In some cases, they’re so loose you end up spilling the drink. It’s completely random whether they’ll seal tightly or not.

These lids truly get the job done! Great grip, texture, and aesthetic. Has every feature someone needs in a lid! Clean lines, clean design, and clean finish. Would reccomend!

Sturdy when used with choice 16oz or 20oz cups. You Can also stack the cups on top of each other with the use of this lid.

I use these with the 9 oz squat cups (#999CC9). I place the cupcake on the lid and put the cup over the top. Makes for great packaging for school bakes sales or events where I don't want to waste my more expensive hinged cupcake containers.

I use these lids for 16oz Italian sodas on my food truck & love them. They fit snuggly & stay on securely; we've had no issues at all with them. I totally recommend & will buy again!

These are a tremendous value and I like that they are packed in the same sleeve qty as the corresponding Choice Cups. I can use these for Shakes and Iced Drinks as well that can utilize a standard diameter in the Straw Slot. I am also pleased with the light pressure that is required to get the snap seal. :)

We ordered these lids for use with the choice PET 32 oz clear plastic cold cups. They fit perfectly and work well with the cups.

They work as they are expected to. Better option than the more expensive brand. My only wish is that somehow they could make a 32oz cup/lid that fits the same lid as the 24oz!

Sturdy lids and NOT flimsy like others can be. Choice is a good brand. We go through a lot of lids/cups and the consistancy of quality is great. We like that one lid fits our 3 sizes of cups that we carry. Makes things much easier and streamlined

It appears that Webstaurant Store recently (2025) changed manufactures for the Choice branded flat lid with straw slot. I've been using this for 4 years, but the past 6 months, 2-3 lids have been melted together making them useless, and there are often entire sleeves that arrive this way. Straw slots have been mis-aligned also making the lids useless. I have had numerous cases arrive with only 500-600 lids instead of the 1,000 that are supposed top be in each case, with 25-35 lids per sleeve instead of the listed 50. Since these are proprietary and do NOT work with any other branded cups, I will be continuing to use these for now until I find another brand to switch all my cups and lids to. I have reached out to customer service about a few cases, but I simply don't have the time to reach out every single time someone at Webstaurant Store or its manufactures are lazy, doesn't do their job or when there is no quality assurance during product manufacturing.

These lids DO NOT fit on the 12 oz Choice Clear Cups. The Specs even show that the lids are 1/4 bigger on the diameter then the cups. This causes spills and leaks. Its resulted in many customer complaints and us needing to use different and extra cups to supplement the problem.

I had to throw out over half the lids for my last purchase of these because the lids wouldn't "click" in place, the straw slot was way off to the side, and some of them the slots were impossible to get a straw through. There are other brands that fit on the Choice 42oz Cups that I will likely be using in the future as these just did not work. Customers reported spilling in their car. You can't trust the lid NOT to pop off. Embarassing as a business owner.

Lids are defective!! They pop off the cups and hole is not fully open for the straw to go through. Will no buy again!!!

We have now thrown away over 40 lids where the straw cut out was not cut and we couldn't put a straw through. We have never had this issue with the straws before.

Lids pop off way too easy. Using with Choice cups and says they are compatible, so if that's the case then they are just pretty bad quality.

These lids are of very poor quality! They’re very flimsy and I do not recommend them at all!! They crack and melt! A big waste of money!!!

I do like these lids, however, I have had quite a few of them stuck together so much so that I just have to "double lid" my drinks because I can't get the lids apart. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Have bought these kids for 8 years but now they have changed and they break every time we put a straw in! Have had to throw out countless drinks due to this defect. Please fix the quality of the lids!!

Doesn’t fit Coke cola 21 oz cups!

They have a weak fit and each one has at least one lid stuck to another. The baristas can't care to separate them so I end up with a whole bunch of cups and no lids

Nice solid fit for the 24 oz cups.

Sometimes these lids are great, other times they don't fit the cups they should fit. Some cases fit loosely requiring the need to use two lids. Totally random on if they will fit tightly or not

the first time I ordered these they were great, every order since has been flimsy and loose. It's actually the only negative comment I've had in my shop.

Iv purchased this product multiple times before and didn’t have an issue. This batch the lids are not securing to the cup. Very loose and leaking. Iv had many customer complaints.

Very durable lids for the Choice plastic cups we use for iced lattes, cold brews, and iced teas.

These are awesome lids they snap on and fit like a glove. No leaks and are great for our 32oz cups
