Being a lover of caramel corn, the good kind, I thought I would take a shot at making this Great Western Frosted Caramel Pocorn Glaze at home. The packaged mix idea sounded like a winner, nothing extra to buy; no machine, syrups, etc. I try always to be observant of other customer's reviews, and therefore noted that the temperature was a key (MOST IMPORTANT) factor in the success of the caramel glaze. My order was shipped very fast. And it did not take me long to decide upon declaring that same evening as "MOVIE NITE AT THE HOUSE". My hubby and I ordered the popcorn popper from Webstaurant for our Christmas gift...we love it. My hubby is a caramel popcorn manic so I decided to order the glaze. The only word for this product is "WONDERFUL"

I love this product! The flavor is awesome and pungent. I use it for caramel corn and it's easy to use with great results. I would like for large container sizes, the price per case is reasonable but small packs are not the best when your doing production. I love the taste so this will always be in my kitchen.

This product was a waste of time and money for me. I followed the directions and there was barely any coating on the popcorn. The flavor was very faint. So I doubled the amount as suggested by other reviewers. Although the flavor improved slightly, it was a sticky mess. We tried it a third time with similar results. Love the flavor and it is very easy to use! It has instructions on the package that are very easy to follow. The clean up is easy as well. This is a great product to help change up your popcorn flavors and give your customers some variety without have a huge investment. I definitely recommend it if you want to try a change without spending a lot of money. It taste great! We love it!

I like popcorn and often cook it at home. I use this caramel icing to give popcorn a sweet taste. Popcorn turs fluffy, and the icing is light, fresh and tasty.

We actually bought this to use as a topping on some of our frozen drinks in our coffee shop. It has s great flavor and works great for this.

We tried the butter flavor from Webstaurant before and was extremely happy – it tastes just like the movie theater. So, we decided to give the other flavors a try. We make ours right on the stove top since we don’t have a large professional machine. Just add your popcorn kernels to the oil, and then add the glaze last (right before the popcorn begins popping). You can follow the directions or tweak it to your liking by adding more or less of the glaze.

I'm a popcorn addict. I'm not proud. I tend to prefer savory but was looking for a relatively easy way to add some sweetness once in a while. This glaze is...good. Not amazing. But considering how easy it is, I still recommend it. The trickiest thing by far is figuring out when to add the powder; in my oil popper with a stir arm (West Bend's Stir Crazy machine), I add it once kernels have already started popping because any sooner and it burns. In a pan on the stove, it has to go in as soon as the test kernels pop and even so it slows down the overall pop time and leads to more unpopped kernels. Flavor is a mild caramel, not super dark/strong, and it pairs decently with sea salt. It makes a lovely crispy shell when used correctly. Like any sugar glaze, cleans up fine with lots of hot water.

switched to this flavoring for all our kettle corn and the taste is amazing and the color is even better. we will not be using glaze pop any more as this product is a lot better and also a lot cheaper. plus my customer loves it.

This glaze is a great addition to add sweetness to your popcorn. It leave a very light caramel glaze. If you would like a heavier glaze double the suggested amount.

I tried so many times to make caramel corn with this topping, and all it did was burn. I have a stainless steel stovetop popper with a metal rod that stirs the popcorn inside...still burnt. Burnt immediately, both times I tried it. Finally out of desperation I sprinkled this product on top of already popped popcorn and tried to melt it on in the microwave, but not good. Maybe under a broiler it would work? Not worth the hassle for me. It doesn't even taste all that good, and the bag is crazy fragrant. We moved it outside because even when the bag is zipped shut it makes the whole room smell.

Great popcorn glaze with this product. It is a litte difficult if you do not own a popcorn machine, but nevertheless it works and tastes delicious.

This stuff is ridiculous! It is so addictive. The smell is like caramel mixed with rainbows. Seriously everyone wants it after just smelling it. It tastes amazing. This is a forever must to have with us. I highly recommend it.

Was worried about this messing up my machine. Was real surprised how easy it cleaned up afterwards. I used less than recommended cause i just wanted to add a bit of sweet. Was great! try adding the butter salt to enhance this glaze. Will get more of this:)

Made this right away as I love caramel corn. Wasn't sure how it would turn out but I was pleasantly surprised. Si, a ly followed the directions and had a nice caramel corn taste.

This smells and tastes like caramel and the consistency depends on how much liquid. I wasn't supposed to taste it, just yet. I'd planned this to be part of a gift, it still will be. I jinxed myself into having my second Webstaurantstore shipping mishap. Two of out many liquid products and more isn't bad. The bag wasn't torn open, the tear here or whatever part was still intact. It didn't have a hole torn into it. The very top had opened, possibly temperature change from warehouse to shipping had loosened the glue or whatever. It could be that it was from sitting in the warehouse but it seemed fresh, as fresh as something like this should be. It would have helped if the resealable zipper part had been secured. I secured that and used a heat sealer to reseal the very top. Quite a bit leaked out but not too much so I'll just explain what had happened. I am mentioning this so the packaging department knows what to check for in the future.

I wasn't really impressed with this product. I follow directions exactly and it still doesn't come out the way it should. Fortunately I only bought it for personal use , so its ok for that. But I don't think I would buy it again.

Talk about fun and delicious! It makes for a wonderful sweet treat that everyone says is beyond delicious. It is super simple to use and yet looks and tastes so impressive.

This is the best caramel flavoring I have found. Be sure to follow the directions to avoid problems, I was afraid it would be difficult to clean after popping the popcorn but that was not the case. Very easy cleanup, I highly recommend.

I had tried the Gold medal Pop N Glaze caramel and was pretty pleased. I found this brand and it was a little cheaper so I figured I would give it a try. I would say it is equally as good. It recommends you use 2 to 1 ration of Popcorn to glaze. I generally cook 6 cups of corn at a time. so I would use 3 cups of the Glaze. As with the Pop N Glaze, It didnt quite make it as caramel flavored as I like, so I generally add a little more glaze, to give it a little extra flavor. It turns out good for as easy as it is. It is not going to be quite like cracker jack caramel but is good for as quick and easy it is. I like to make a batch of Caramel and then a batch of Sour apple. Mix them together to make Caramel Apple!

This product seemed like a very good idea just add the season to the kettle and make yummy Carmel corn... Doesn't work out like that. It burns Evey time in my 8oz popper no matter what I try. Very disappointed because I love carmel corn

This is a pretty good caramel popcorn glaze. It tastes close to what you'd expect from commercially packaged caramel popcorn. My first attempt popping it I burned a portion of it, but that was probably my fault. The ratio in the instructions is 2 parts popcorn to 1 part glaze and it seemed like not quite enough caramel for my taste.

Wasn't sure what this would turn out like, but for the price I wanted to give it a try. Awesome! Very easy to use in our popper. Now we can have a sweet treat in the matter of a couple minutes and for pennies a serving.
