Nice heavy soup spoon, has a nice beveled edge that makes it useful for scraping the sides of pots and a semi deep bowl to it works just right. There is also a little ledge to the handle that works great for leaning it up against the side of the bot so it does not slide in.

These spoons are amazingly versatile, and are the highest quality. They are absolutely rigid, and work wonders for stirring sauces, especially bechamel-based sauces. I'll never use a different utensil for dishing poached eggs. These are the best slotted spoons I've ever used.

This a MUST have item! I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I have been thru many spoons thru out the years but this spoon will stand the test of time. I am now searching for other Vollrath utensils to replace all of my existing ones. Cuts thru refrigerated butter like a knife. Does not scratch non-stick pans, it is sturdy and feels good in the hand and most importantly, it really is heat resistant. I'm telling any who are looking at this product BUY IT you will not regret it and for the price this is a true find! Thank you Vollrath.

This solid spoon is resistant to high heat and is durable. It's made from hard plastic, doesn't scratch my pans and is easy to clean- will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Vollrath Slotted Spoon. High heat resistant. Works great. Not super heavy duty. Medium duty. I have broken these before trying to spoon out heavy stuff or stuff that gives good resistance, like sticky rice. But for the price, these work great.

This Vollrath high heat slotted spoon is made from very strong plastic. It is resistant to very high heat as I use it with my hot wok and I haven't had any issues. The handle is also fairly long so it keeps the hand away from the heat.

This is a really basic slotted spoon. I will avoid using it on high heat even though it can be. I was thinking to stir and drain things like beans it will be very useful.

I have purchased many of Vollrath’s hi-heat utensils. The quality is unmatched and they hold up just as advertised. They are larger than your typical household utensils, so if you’re not using this in a restaurant setting, keep that in mind. It doesn’t bother me at all because we have updated kitchen cabinets and we have the storage space for it. But, I wouldn’t recommend this if you have a small or compact kitchen. However, there is a hole that you can use to hang it from above your countertops if you want to store it that way.

After buying the solid version of this spoon, I replaced my other nylon slotted spoons with these. They're really solid and don't turn flimsy under heat like others.

I absolutely love these Walrath high temperature spoons I got there fantastic I love the bowl wrath brand and the fact that they hold Fort Worth can handle 475°

A few things I don't like about this spoon. The edges on the head of the spoon are actually a bit sharp. Could potentially damage a pan with a nonstick coating. And I don't like how the "bottom" of the spoon is open creating a large cavity for water and bacteria to hide. Other than that, this spoon is very solid and seems like it will last a lifetime.

A good spoon that's cheep and easy to clean for no stick cookware. We haven't broken it yet so it's holding up to steady use.

Rated for high heat these are great for the kitchen. I am always looking for utensils that are not going to melt or fall apart in my food. Why¿ well because I like eating food that taste great not riddled with the taste of plastics.

We really like these high heat spoons. We were melting some spoons before we got these spoons. They also look nice and the handles don't get so hot that they burn you.

This is a great spoon for serving and cooking in non-stick pans. The best part is that the plastic construction holds up without melting, and soils slide right off in the dishwasher. It's not the prettiest one out there, but it sure is practical.
