This disher is the perfect size for truffles. I decided to buy Vollrath after several other brands failed me in quality after much use. This disher is easy to use with the quick release and will last as long time.

These Vollrath dishers are great for portioning out a specific amount of food. This #100 disher is 2 tsp, and it is great for various ingredients including shortening. The blade pushes out the contents cleanly, and the whole disher is dishwasher safe!

This scoops offers a large portion of food. Very well made and very easy and comfortable to use. I love the squeeze handle. This particular one is orange which matches my.kitchen perfect. Love Vollrath Products for their quality and functionability.

This is a really nice portion scooper. I know it looks a little different but it works really well. It also works really well as an ice cream scooper too.

These are awesome and far better than the thumb scoops. GET THESE. What's better is that your staff will be forced to leave the handle above flip lids, meaning you won't get written up when the health inspector drops by. Moreover, they are ergonomic and easy to use.

This scoop has scooped over 1000 cookies by now and still looks and performs like brand new. It's a good size. We made #12 cookies for awhile, but customers seemed intimidated by the size. We switched to #16, cut the price some, and sales went way up.

I use this scoop for my BBQ pulled pork paninis. It’s comfortable to use/scoop and gives consistency, because I’m able to portion out the same amount, which is super important to me. I totally recommend.

After breaking half a dozen cheap-o scoops, I finally found one durable enough for portioning cookie dough with this product. Lately, any time that I pick up a professional kitchen tool and think, "this is really nice, I want one" There's a vollrath badge on it.

I would not buy this scooper again. We it for scooping cookie dough and the squeeze handle disher does not release the dough well and you have to shake it to get the dough out. I think the wire scraper is just not precise enough. Usually Vollrath makes good products but this one is a miss.

The main reason I bought this is because my daughter is left handed and the other scoops she can’t use because they’re made for right handed people. And plus I can still use this easily as well

Excellent cookie scooper. Very sturdy and very easy to use. It is just the right size for a 2 to 2 1/2 size cooked cookies. I like how it is made. The design is good. Highly recommend this brand.

The squeeze-style handle mechanism makes this disher comfortable for repetative use. The handle style also allows for hanging on the edge of a wire rack making it a breeze to select the right size disher for the task at hand.

I was initially skeptical about a plastic spring/hinge operating the disher mechanism, but the Vollrath plastic scoops appear durable and feel solid in my hand. While they are easy to use, they are ever-so-slightly more fatiguing than the Vollrath stainless steel dishers. I do appreciate the color-coded handles.

excellent squeeze handle disher, size is just perfect if you want to make quick and small cookies. Handle is a lot more comfortable than the press disher.

Nice scoop. After putting it in the mix, I feel it will last a long time. Unlike other scoops that fall off track, I feel that this one will stay intact forever.

I definitely prefer the ergonomics of the "squeeze handle" compared to the traditional thumb-press dishers. They are also an easier adjustment for left-handed folks to use! This brand seems to hold up much better than most and is for sure worth the extra cost. They do eventually wear out and break with heavy-duty use like doughs and other firmer materials- but they have a longer lifespan than other brands.

These scoops have lasted over the years and really hold up. They don't cause as much hand fatigue as other scoops and can go through the dishwasher everyday without breaking. Definitely worth the upgrade. We use these to scoop hundreds of cookies everyday and they really hold up.

Love the scoop size - perfect for cookies. Vollrath's handles have a sharper edge though, which can result in blisters after a day of heavy use, but that is my only critique for the product. Their scoops are made and stand up well to constant use.

Very high quality disher! We use this disher to scoop almond butter for our recipes and it definitely holds up to the thick consistency with no issues. Sturdy and easy to use, not hard on the wrist at all!

These have multiple uses and the quality is great. Inexpensive and durable too. We use these to scoop and roll the perfect sized homemade meatball.

The squeeze on this scoop us great. It holds up great when doing batter or extra heavy duty with chicken salads scoop. Perfect size every time.

Meh. Definitely only used if the other grey scoop is in the sink. We use it for portioning batter and find that it gets gummed up pretty easily.

I use ice cream scoops to measure out scoops of batter; this one wasn't the right size for the weight I was trying to measure out, but I like the handle design.

I really like this scoop to use with the Mini Muffin Pan. The portion is very accurate and the batter easily glides out without sticking. I think the different colors is a great option to designate for different applications and I plan to purchase more of these in the future.

This is a nice disher, with easier handle to use as it works with whole hand instead of just your thumb. It would be good for larger scoops to have this type of handle

The Vollrath 47397 #24 Disher, like all of Vollrath's dishers is a workhorse quality scoop that dishes perfect and clean balls of cookie dough each time. The neck is strong and handles cold and dense cookie dough like a champ. The release mechanism is easy and doesn't strain your hand after repeated use like spring loaded squeeze mechanisms. This particular size scoop is one of my favorites for ~3 inch cookies, a nice goldey locks zone cookie size. The price for this item on WebstaurantStore is unbeatable. This will be a great addition to your cookie scoop collection.

these squeeze dishes gives me consistent portioning when Im portioning fillings either for dumplings, or mini hand pies! the newer version of these disher from Vollrath is a lot better than the old one as it does not involve any spring
