Pretty good disher. Works on softer foods and sauces like they suggest. Don't try to use it on anything thick and sticky. The metal swing arm bends and breaks under those conditions.

These are the best dippers on the planet. I just bought 10 more today because I figured that the 10 I bought in 2012 might need some rest. 10 years without an issue on 10 of these dippers. Thats unheard of!!! I own a very high traffic high volume italian ice truck and my original 10 Vollrath dippers have never let me down. I’ve gone through probably 20 other dippers, different brands, since March of 22. They break and fall apart. Not Vollrath! Vollrath is king in dippers. Thank you very much!

This scoop is the perfect size for cookies and for mini cupcakes. It feels sturdy in your hand and the thumb press is easy to use. All the mechanizes are metal and the handle is plastic and everything works flawlessly. It is also very easy to clean.

I was really happy to find this good of a price on these. They are quite a bit more expensive around where I live. These are the only ones I've used that actually last. Most of the cheap ones fall apart fairly easy.

The 8oz staineless ladle is fantastic. It combines durability with being easy to clean. The 8 ounce portion size is quite adequate. The end has a hook for easy storage and it is dishwasher safe.

Purchased for use in a commercial bakery along with 3 other sizes. These hold up very well to repeated daily use and abuse. Older dishers that were being replaced were same item and lasted for years for us.

The measurements are exact which is great for keeping the food inventory on point. We like to use these for scooping sides onto or plates like mashed potatoes.

This was exactly what I was looking for as far as design and ease of use, I just wish I had gotten a size smaller for the perfect size scoop of icecream.

I bought the 1.3 scoop because I typically use the 1.625 cookie scoop but my chocolate chip recipe was only getting 11 cookies. This scoop makes the perfect sized cookies

Great Design, handle is comfortable and the mechanism is sturdy but not a strain to use. Perfect size for cookies, not bite size but not too big. They clean up very easy.

Great food disher! Although this is one of the smaller sizes, I think this will be the one I reach for more. It would be a great size for smaller meatballs and for portioning filling for dumplings. The thumb press works easily and the whole disher feels sturdy. I was considering buying the OXO scoops, but these seem really sturdy and are much more cost effective. I also like the different colors for easy sizing.

It seems sturdy, but it is oversized. Since it is designed for portion control it's of no use to me for it to be inaccurate.

Perfect disher for medium to large portions. Has white handle so its clearly identifiable for which portion size you are serving. I've never revived a bad product from vollrath.

Worth the money. We’ve tried some other scoops for our edible cookie dough and they break. Not this one. Really high quality scoop. Easy to clean

I find it easy to use, and clean. I'd like to get some different sizes for other goodies. Can't go wrong with these quality dishers.

This scooper is pretty useless for us. I bought it to use with Italian Ice and the handle just gets stuck. I need to press the handle 4 to 5 times to release and then I have to use BOTH of my hands because it gets stuck. I bought this thinking it would be better quality from the other ones I purchase since they are almost triple the price but I was wrong. Completely useless item. I even considered using wd40 to make it release. Definitely do not recommend, will not buy again.

Vollrath portion scoops are a good value in a sense it last a long time. Also helps keep cost down from over portion when serving food.

We use these scoops to dish out white rice. It gives the rice a perfect looking scoop appeal. Nice easy to push out with the thumb press

Good quality food disher, we use this to scoop our muffins mix so that each one is a precise size and weight. This works perfect.

We scoop up hundreds of portions per week with these dishers and they keep on putting in the work. While some will get sticky over time, these won't!

Vollrath is the best brand for food dishers that is offered on Webstaurant. They are durable and the design and materials can't be beat. It would be nice to have free Plus shipping but it's at least discounted. The more you add to your order, the cheaper the shipping becomes per unit so try adding more until you get the right balance between items ordered and shipping cost. Unless you're using your disher for the softest foods in the world like mashed potatoes, don't waste your time or money on other dishers...I promise you won't be happy with them.

Purchased this 4 years ago (2016), and it's still holding up great. This is the strongest performing scoop I've used. Highly recommend to anyone who's worried about the additional cost, it's worth it.

This is the ultimate kitchen gadget. Perfect size! Very high quality. That is why I love Vollrath. Made in the USA. Perfect for mashed potatoes or baked macaroni and cheese.

We tried several brands but Vollrath, even though it is slightly expensive, it is worth it. And it is NSF approved, so it is perfect!

This scoop works perfectly and is made well. It lets us dish out exact portions and the handle stays relativity cool even in the warmest environment.

These make serving Mac and cheese so much easier! It saves me time being able to get all of it out of the spoon in a quick second. They hold up very well. Unfortunately because of the design, they are hard to clean all the edges and underneath the scraper. I’m not sure that is something that could even be improved, and honestly it’s worth it considering how much time it saves on the job. A nice method for cleaning it that I found is soaking it in hot soapy water first to break everything down. Overall, a good product and I would purchase again

These get the job done and hold up better than cheaper dishers. They wash up fine in the dishwasher and don't break like other brands.
