Stop looking any more. THIS is the prep/multipurpose kitchen spoon you want. The length is just perfect for almost any job, and this spoon is SOLID. I've used it to work with the stiffest dough around. It's up to the task. Absolutely no bending of the handle or bowl. Heat resistant and stain resistant. Clean up is a breeze - hand or toss in the dish washer. Very smooth surfaces, nothing for food particles to stick to or hide in, so very sanitary. The colors are a bonus - easy to find in a "knick knack" drawer and if you wanted to use different spoons for different tasks, just get the different colors. I really like the red for tomato prep in particular.

Great for your red sauces. This is light weight, high temperature, and easy to clean. I like that it’s perfect for most sauces but this one is specifically used for red sauce as it is red. Cross contamination from different types of sauces is avoided by using different colors for different sauces.

Heat resistant, whoa yeah it's not melting or warping on me, oh my, and a nice length, not too long and falling all over the place, but also not causing steam burns, hello! I think I found the spoon for me!

Buy this spoon! It works extremely well on stainless steel and cast iron. I purchased one previously, but it's always in use, so I ordered a couple more. It's lightweight, and washes easily without retaining in food or soap smells. This blue is a very bright, primary blue.

I usually use woods spoons in the kitchen but decided to buy this to try it out. Now it is one of my favorites to use. Can't go wrong with this. The blue color is awesome.

This spoon is versatile and great with heat. I accidentally left it touching the edge of the pan the other day and it had no visible marks after even three minutes.

Good spoon for stirring soups and meals in a pot. I tried it for mixing dough and it's not as good for that - more fatiguing than a wider wooden spoon. Being so narrow makes it easily twist in your hand and it takes more effort to fight that twisting. Being a little wider would make it more general purpose, but it's great for it's intended purpose.

I love this type of spoon and use them all the time. I was happy to see Webstaurant is carrying them and I will purchase more in the future

These really do hold up well to high heat! We use them in very hot frostings and they do great! They can get a little stained depending on what you are using them for but they are a great product none the less!

Sturdy, well-made plastic spoon. Nice for protecting the finish on some of our nicer pots and pans. We try not to leave the spoons resting in/on hot pans, but so far we haven't had any issues with heat damage. Color coding is handy for keeping our allium prep spoon isolated.

The Vollrath 12" blue high heat nylon prep spoon is great to use with our large saucepans. We don't have to worry about it melting.

Great sturdy spoon! It also has slightly curved edges to help hold whatever your spooning in! The color is so bright making it easy to use color coding for portioning.

It would be hard to find a fault with these extremely durable spoons. The only time I've seen one falter was when it was left to close to an open flame. Great value.

My favorite item in the kitchen because it just works. Heat doesn't bother it and it cleans well. Can't really go wrong here for the price and functionality.

Sometimes you just can’t use a metal spoon with what you’re cooking. Maybe the metal will react to whatever dish you create but I still need a high heat spoon to help me out. This does the Job and it’s easy to spot in the crowd.

This hi heat prep spoon has held up very well so far and feels very high quality. This is to be expected with the Vollrath brand. Great buy.

Love these spoons, very heat resistant and easy to find in a drawer full of utensils. They do discolor with strong items like turmeric etc.

The high heat prep spoons are fantastic. I know these will last longer than the cheap wooden spoons I’ve purchased in the past (I don’t want to spend a fortune to get high quality). I wish this color came in as many size options as the tan colored ones.

This nylon spoon is very convenient to use in the kitchen . It has all the benefits of a wood spoon but is non stick to make it easier during cleanup

I prefer these nylon prep spoons over wooden spoons because you can put them in the dishwasher and they don’t hold bacteria like wooden spoons do.

I like using several colors of cooking tools to help me keep track of what dish it goes with. These spoons look nice, are sturdy and clean well. Must buy item.

white can be scary when it comes to cooking utensils, but these wash up really nicely compared to some others i have used. these really dont melt when exposed to heat like a plastic spoon would. such a great deal here! two thumbs up!

This photograph high temperature spoon is very nice it’s great for scraping the bowl it’s great for storing scooping and everything else I really like it because I can use it in a pan with the heat on and it doesn’t melt

I use the Vollrath twelve inch yellow high heat nylon prep spoon on a regular basis. I always appreciate not having to worry if I left the spoon in a pan. Works well, great solid construction, not too heavy and easy to order. I cannot recommend these prep spoons enough!!

This high heat nylon spoon is great. The bright yellow color makes it easy to locate. It works great for all high heat applications. I use it for caramel making.

I got tired of buying cheap plastic prep spoons that melt in the pot. These spoons are heavy duty and do not warp or melt like the cheap ones. Great prep spoons for the kitchen.

Very strong utensil that can stir pretty much any dish. We use it for soups, curries, and more. Does not get hot or melt under any temperature. Easy to clean and keep clean.

This is one heavy duty spoon. Great size and very durable. I needed something strong to mix heavy dough and this is more than capable.

Good spoon, and I strongly prefer this one over the smaller' size for its versatility. I've used this over high heat and I haven't noticed any melting or discoloring.

These are nice spoons. I use them all the time for making sauces and beans. The 12 inch length is a little short though but that is my fault for not measuring the diameter and height of my pots first. One small thing i don't like about these spoons very much is how small the actual spoon part of the spoon is. I wish they made the spoon's scoop a little larger.

very pleased with this spoon. very strong to resist bending and breaking during hard usage. good price and quick delivery. Can't have too many of these spoons available when cooking.

After melting several cheap competitor mixing spoons, I decided to spend a little more on this and I'm so glad I did. It's made of thick, high grade plastic that I don't have to worry about melting. It's also very strong for bringing together ingredients in a thick mix that would bend lesser spoons.

The Vollrath Red Hi-Heat Nylon Prep Spoon is one sturdy spoon that you can use over heat to stir sauces and also in the mixing bowl to handle a stiff dough. Very pleased with this spoon!

Love this spoon, doesn't scratch our non-stick pans. The white has taken on some of the tomato color when making tomato sauce but we should of known better and gotten a red spoon too. I highly recommend this product.
