This little sauce pan is a must for every kitchen. It's the perfect size and weight for making all kinds of sauces and hot breakfast cereals. I've found it works beautifully for homemade ketchup, oatmeal, rice cereal, and anything else requiring a smaller pan. The included lid is nicely weighted and low-profile, requiring little storage space. Finished with a satin look, it's very attractive with a rounded handle that is both comfortable and remains cool. A multi-layer base facilitates exceptionally quick, even heating on my induction cooktop without the buzzing often associated with less expensive cookware. A fantastic purchase. I highly recommend it!

When I needed a serious upgrade at home, replaced my nonstick pots with these and it was so worth it. Same with any stainless steel, it's more work to maintain but should last a life time if you do it right.

Top quality sauce pan for the price. The bottom transfers heat very well, bringing sauces to a boil quickly. The handle keeps cool to the touch during normal use. The only downside is that the side walls are a bit thin, I sometimes get some side scorching on high heat. I've used this pan for over a year and it will hold up to a lot of use.

This sauce pan is built really well. Really liked the welded handles. Good for pasta, sauces, rice or soups! The brushed finish helps fro scratches.

This is the sauce pan we use with the Avantco induction burner. Mostly used for making pasta. We put sauce and cheese in there too and it cleans up really nicely and easily.

Great saucepot for its cost, this easily boils soup, reheats liquids, sautees, and can even sear with its flat and heavy duty bottom. Cleans easily for a stainless steel pot, and holds and distributes heat very well.

The vollrath optio 2.75 quart sauce pan is a great pan! It looks phenomenal and has a long handle. It also has a very thick bottom so food cooks evenly. Love it!

I use this pot for all sorts of things from sauces to grains (rice, quinoa) and even deep frying. it seems to be suited to almost any cooking task. it's really hefty and well constructed, but somehow not all that expensive.

These are excellent little cause pans because they come with a ton of qualities! For instance, it comes with a lid, is induction ready, and it's hard to damage!

We got the Optio set as a Christmas present. This is such a good looking set and it makes you feel so professional in a home kitchen. You can’t beat the versatility (especially as a renter) because they’re induction ready and can also be used with gas or electric ranges. Because they’re made of stainless steel, they’re oven safe up to 350F. The price is fantastic, especially since it includes the lid.

Phenomenal construction like everything Vollrath makes. We use these for poaching eggs and quick sauce work on the line. Highly recommend this product despite the high price.

I love this little pot. I have 2 now and I will probably get another one. I use it for my small batch chocolates. It has a nice heavy bottom, and it's easy to clean up.

I could not be more satisfied with this sauce pan. It has an extremely heavy stainless steel bottom which will allow for excellent conductivity. Yet, despite this strong construction, the sauce pan is easy to handle and balanced. The quality is supreme.

Perfect small size pan for making sauces as well as boiling water for a single serving late night pasta craving. The clad bottom helps significantly, especially on my older stove which is not great at even heating. The thickness helps spread the heat sparing my sauces.

this line of pans by vollrath are great for all around cooking. they have clad bottoms for even heat retention and theyre steel so there's no reactions from foods. i have them in every size.

well made heavy duty sauce pan. cover fits snug. You can never have enough pans of varying sizes and this one is perfect for small batches of sauces or toasting seeds for a curry.

I have a few of these pots in different sizes. I like these pots but I'm disappointed that this one doesn't work on the Vollrath induction cooker. The other sizes work fine.

This is an excellent saucepan, with impressive build quality. When comparing it to my other pans of similar quality, they were much more expensive. The Optio has a nice thick base that almost completely covers the bottom of the pan body. The steel walls are much thicker than expected for the price, finish work is good, with an easy-to-clean brushed finish that I really like. Another feature I really appreciate is the handle. It's long, hollow, fat and round

Where has Vollrath been all my life?!. I absolutely love these sauce pans, it heats well and the overall the cookware feels solid and sturdy. I now plan on buying Vollrath to replace all my older cookware. Price point is definitely affordable. Great buy.
