We bought both varieties of hotel pans for our steam table, and this one is about triple the price of what we paid for the cheaper kind. I have to say that it was worth the extra money for sure. The corners and edges have held up well, while the cheaper ones have curled corners and edges that no longer hold steam underneath as a result. Spend the extra dough. It's worth it!

This pan is thick and heavy. Supposed to heavy duty so it's nice for hot foods.

We purchased one along with a Vollrath 20028 Super Pan V Full Size Stainless Steel Wire Pan Grate, and they're great together. However, our pan arrived dented and scratched, that's why there's a 4 star instead of a 5. This was our first time ordering from this company, and they package like a cheap vendor rather than other established business vendor.

Very nice and very shiny. I use them as the base for a display for customers, so they fact that they look like a million bucks is great. They are heavy duty and will last forever.

Vollrath buffet pans are the best. They cost slightly more but the stainless grade is so much better. I also like that they are more "square" cornered vs. a soft square. For our needs, this is helpful. Great pans, all our Vollrath equipment has lasted years.

I started shopping here because I was trying to find a great selection of the Vollrath Stainless hotel pans. They are the best on the market and the only ones I buy. The sturdy, shiny stainless, design is easy to clean, and last but not least Made In the USA! Most of our pans spend hours in the smoker but I like to keep them looking new and they are. While the smoke has to be scrubbed off by hand, they come clean with very little effort and stay shiny and they do not have a scratched-up look. Never warp. I use the racks and covers. There is not one point I could suggest for improvement. I really like that my purchase helps give another USA worker a job.

Amazing hotel pans!! I’ve been using these for years for everything from large scale prep to basic transport of our holiday meals to the in laws. Easy to clean, good quality as always from Vollrath, and whatever anti jam mechanism it has is wonderful as I can stack for storage and not spend time trying to separate the pans as I have had to do with other hotel pans in the past. Definitely a recommend!

I use this hotel pan for roasting two pork shoulders for tacos. It cleans up surprisingly easy and performs really well. I'm so happy with it, I bought two.

At first this pan seemed too deep for its narrow width, however I am finding it is nice to have the option of more space, if needed. I have been looking for a high quality alternative to glass containers to avoid shattered glass if accidentally dropped. This is a versatile product: can go in freezer, oven and fridge.

Heavy duty and shiny. They dont have sharp edges and stay bright and shiny. Its worth a little more money to buy quality, the cheap ones just dont last, are prone to dulling and rusting and in my opinion are just not worth it.

I am a home cook and use this pan much less frequently than I assume a typical commercial kitchen work. It failed catastrophically. I purchased Vollrath as I assumed it would be both higher quality and that they would stand behind their products. Officially, I am 12 months out of warranty and both Vollrath and Webstaurant have declined to replace it. That's certainly their choice, but I have a hard time recommending paying the premium for SuperPans.

I love these! They're so sturdy and easy to clean, and have held up to heavy use showing almost no signs of wear. I'll definitely be buying these again.

These pans are perfect! Catering or working out of our booth at the market, it holds the food and lots of it while maintaining the temperature in our hotbox. Sturdy, heavy duty, have dropped one at least twice and not even a dent. Seriously, get more if you can.

Another great product from Vollrath! I always go to this brand for high-quality products that are reasonably priced. These have held up very well in our kitchen and fit perfectly into our coolers.

These pans are great quality. I heat to temp in these pans on my griddle, and they stand up to the harsh temps and wash well with scrub pads. I use these all the time

I purchased the 4 inch deep pan after considering roasting pans for home use. All of the roasters I was looking for were very expensive, and I wanted something with a flat bottom that could be deglazed easily and could be poured from easily. Now, this fits in my home oven with not a ton of space on each side, so you must slide the rack out to retrieve the hot pan, and there are no handles, unlike other types of home roasting pans. That said, even in oven gloves, the edges are grippable even when heavily filled. What I find myself doing with it most often is roasting bones for stock, and meatloaves. These work great. Anyone that uses hotel pans know how handy they are. And having pans that don't jam is even better. I would/will purchase these again.

This steel pan works great for holding tons of different foods. this is great to serve food at big events and is great to have in a restaurant as well.

Vollrath superpan are built strong and durable. It has handle over ten years of restaurant use. It’s primarily use for hot holding food display case. We use it to cook and then display food. Highly recommended!

There are really nice - high quality pans and are well made. they are rigid, yet light weight and they are professional quality. i am planning on boiling maple sap in them to make maple syrup.

You pay a little more for these pans, but you get what you pay for. These are well made and should hold up to daily use better than the cheaper ones. These are less likely to get dinged up and bent at the top edge.

These get used multiple times every day in our business and we have not had one break down on us as of yet. We use them for cooking and baking and they hold up well to lots of use.

We melt chocolate with these and their high quality stainless steel is really great. Very east to use and we highly recommend this brand to everyone.

These pans are awesome! They are well worth the extra money. More than double as thick as the cheap pans, and the edges seem very strong. I will update review if we have any problems with them. The cheap pans lasted us 2-3 years, so hopefully these last much longer!

Vollrath are great pans for kitchen use. There are very durable and sturdy. These are excellent for prep, storage, line and banquet service. Easy to handle, clean and store when not in use. I highly recommend.

As of my review this is the most advanced hotel pan Vollrath makes- the most durable corners. For the home chef, it's overkill. Looks nice, pleasant satin texture, and the stainless is resistant to corrosive stuff without having the endocrine disrupting chemicals of plastic. I've used it to brine meat and it worked a treat.

These Vollrath pans are definitely worth the extra price. The anti-jam technology works well, and is a good size for ingredient storage in the freezer or fridge.

Even though the picture shows corn, I really prefer deep pans for liquids. Otherwise, people are digging to get to the bottom and by the time you get to the bottom what's left is all mush. That being said, we use these deep versions for soups and dressings and they work wonderfully. Whatever your use, I can highly recommend this Vollrath deep steam pan. Typical Vollrath quality by which I mean an excellent buy, worth every penny.

It does the job holding main entrees in our catering buffets. Enough depth for stews to be put in these hotel pans too. Easy to wash as they are dishwasher safe.

third pan is probably one of my mostly used pan. I used this more than anything else,. Combining this with 2 other 1/3rd pans give you a full pan. I use this mostly in a steam table to separate different food

Purchased for use in a commercial hot bar setting. These pans hold up for years and years and years of use with little signs of wear if properly cared for.

Very high quality 1/3 pan, worth the extra money if you need the higher quality. Thick steel that cleans up very well. They still look brand new and will not need to be replaced for a long time.

These are good the hold a-lot of cheese for our Pizza that way they can be prepped and ready for the busy day. these have many uses though.

Ideal for hot food. Fits alot inside even though it may look small. Easy to transport food for get together, does not take up a lot of space but has enough space for plenty of food.

Although the pan in itself is great, I purchased for inserts to chill containers and due to the edges they did not fit my containers.
