We use this vacuum pump to seal opened wine bottles, and it does seem to do a good job of preserving the wine for a few extra days. This system is definitely superior to another one we have used in the past, but after daily use we had to replace the pump after about 6 months. The stoppers also are a little small for some wine bottles and will leak, so we also had to source some stoppers that are a little larger for a more secure fit.

This device helps to keep our wine nice and fresh so that the next customer that gets a glass of wine gets a nice fresh pour.
