Really enjoy using this product, it is perfect for roasts and essential for reverse sear steaks. Large print for the timer and loud alarm. My only complaint is that with frequent use they tend to have issues with the temperature accuracy after about a year - it will be a sudden failure where the temp registers obviously far off. They are cheap enough I just replace them at that point.

Works just as well as any of the more expensive options. The cord is plenty long so there is little concern on that front.

A great little thermometer - it not only is a timer, but when you have reached the desired temperature, it will sound. Received it within few days of ordering it, along with a few other things. This morning I checked its accuracy with boiling water and ice water. As you can see in the submitted photo and video, in a cup of ice water, it is reading 5 deg Celsius and in a boiling pot of water, it is reading at 95 deg Celsius. I am in Salt Lake City, sitting about 4300ft above sea level which means my boiling point would be about 95 deg celsius. Just something to keep in mind. Keep it at Fahrenheit, one will achieve better accuracy just because there will be more frequent reading levels between ice cold and boiling hot (0 to 100C vs 32 to 212F, which means 100 vs. 180 reading levels)

We go through a lot of thermometers in my home, but I'm happy to say this one is still in my possession. Thermometers can be so temperamental and I'm an anxious cooker, so I usually use multiple thermometers to make sure I don't go over my desired temperature. This thermometer is very reliable, but you want to set it about ten degrees lower than your desired exit temperature. I always go for the center of the thickest part of the meat, but it never seems to give me an exactly accurate temperature, usually varying by 10° +/- from what other thermometers will read. So I use this one to get me into the ballpark and then when I get close to my desired temp., I use a few finer thermometers to synchronize with this one and finish the job. I've had a lot of in-oven thermometers and they always end up breaking on me. This one still works, but I'm only giving it four stars because the magnets both fell off the back and I have to reglue them.

Probe works well on the stovetop and in the oven. Have not had any issues so far. Temperature alarm function is convenient as long as you remember to flip the switch to activate it. Timer function worked fine. Handy to have around.

These are great and accurate digital thermometers and timers. The major issue that I have is that they are not durable. They break (error code Lo or just stop working) constantly.

I had one of these for about 10 years before it finally gave out. I bought this to replace it. Looks nice, the buttons are easy to press and have a nice feel. Its really convenient having a thermometer, timer, and temperature monitoring all at once if you're roasting a large piece of meat. I love that you can store this on the refrigerator with the magnet on the back when not in use.

this is a great find, best price and easy to use, helps me keep up with other things so I don't have to worry about what time or temp it is, one of my best buys.

This thermometer is great, it has a magnet to attach it to the oven or any other metal surface and an alarm for when your food has reached the desired temperature. The 4' cord connecting the probe to the thermometer is the perfect length so it can get to almost anything, but is not too long.

this taylor digital cooking thermometer is really great! its really convenient that the probe can be disconnected to clean. i also love the fact that it has a alarm when the temp is reached.

This was nice while it worked. The probe died, but admittedly it was subjected to high heat in an oven. The rubber hook part on the probe is not really long enough to securely hold to a pan, the clip from a standard candy thermometer is better and more secure. Fortunately you can use that type of clip wit this, but it would be nice if it came with one.

Great Thermometer from Taylor! This Digital Cooking thermometer and kitchen timer is exactly what I was looking for. The silicone wire also works well and doesn't get as hot as some of the metal ones I've used in the past.

These kitchen timers are great! So far the temps have been spot on and the silicone wire has not been a problem thus far. The actual timer itself melted at the top because we left it too close to the fire (oops) but even after that the timer has still been working fine. Tough and accurate.

This is such a useful tool for making candy, especially brittle. Accurate and good design. I also really like the magnet and the ability to easily read the display even sitting on the counter.

These are okay for a year or so. Ours, which we use almost every day (four of them at a time even), are now not consistently beeping when the time is over. It just stops. This has caused a few burned trays of cookies and dry cake. Also, the thermometer probe is very sensitive to water. Do NOT get the piece that inserts into the timer wet.

This is my favorite model of thermometers. It reads so quickly and accurately. You can pull meat out of the oven at just the right time with this. We also use it to take the temperature of the water we use for French press coffee. Love it.

Great, accurate thermometer. We use it all the time when when smoking meats. Just stick the probe into the meat and close the smoker door down on the silicone wire. No issues whatsoever. We also use it when roasting, so we dont have to open the oven door to check. It conveniently has a magnet on the back, so the unit sticks to the oven or smoker. Batteries last for a long time, and it is easy to quickly read the display from across the kitchen.

I love this timer and thermometer combination. I have found the temperature to be accurate. The meat probe cord has held up well under high temperatures. I use it almost daily and have had no problems. I would purchase it again!

Product was great kept us on every product that was our main critical point in our health inspections that needed attention So when it fell below a certain temperature we took carw of the situation before time and we were always ready and aware of our guest food safwty

The thermometer works good for smoking. The probe cord is long enough to place the unit outside the smoker or oven and loud enough to hear it.

I've had two of these thermometers. The issue I had with the first was in the wire. I think there was a short in the first one as it would not read, so I bought a second one just to replace the wire, and it worked great. Now I have no issues.

We purchased one originally and it worked great for awhile. Then nothing....so we purchased a few more during the holidays for all the cooking going on. The new ones haven't given us any issues as if yet, however we don't use them as often as we did the first one.

This thermometer is both accurate and extremely convenient to use. The one concern that I have is that the probe - likely because of its silicon cover - is only heat safe to 425 and thus the thermometer will warn you if you reach 400 or above. but besides this it works very intuitively - it will count up if you start the timer without any time and if it is blinking because the temperature is over the set temp hitting stop will stop the blinking.

I bought this thermometer after throwing away another one from a different brand bought on Amazon which failed the second time I used it. When I saw this Taylor thermometer on Webstaurant store I decided to give it a try as I have never been disappointed with products purchased on Webstaurant store, I consider them commercial grade. As a matter of fact, this one did disappoint me a lot as it failed at the third use! The error message "Lo" was displayed in the temperature window while I was roasting beef for a family dinner. Very disappointed with this TAYLOR thermometer!!

The taylor digital thermometer itself is great. It's the probes that you have to watch out for. I've had to replace about 3 or 4 of them.

I like that this product came with batteries ready to be used. Product is very simple and self-explanatory; I did not need to read any instructions. I have never used a thermometer like this. It came in very handy for me to cook my turkey for Thanksgiving. Temperature appears to be very accurate when compared to my other meat thermometers. This product does exactly what it is supposed to do. Simple, effective, it's easy to use, that is why I gave it 5 stars. You can find other products like this on some of the popular online stores. However quality is often questionable. Webstaurantstore has always stood behind their products, in my experience.
