I threw out the other thermometer I had once I got this one. It shows the temperature very quickly, has rubber around it to protect it if it falls and is nicely made. I use it to take temps of all sorts of things.

Comfortable, compact. Measures temperature quickly and accurately. Clear electronic display with a wide measuring range. Includes a plastic case. Can show the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.

These are the thermometers you want. Do not buy the cheaper ones. They will break and its really not worth it. These are accurate and durable.

Really good thermometer and the rubber piece on it keeps it from breaking when dropped, which is a great feature if you work in a commercial kitchen.

I am getting to the point where I may spend quite a bit more money to find an instant read thermometer that really works reliably and fast. This one is okay. It does seem to read quickly, but the display can be hard to read depending on the angle and taking a reading twice in a row can yield very different results. Still, it seems on par with others in its price range I've used, and it is easy to clean and holds up well to being tossed around, so four stars.

The feature I like the most about this thermometer is that I can use C° or F° to measure temperature. It is well made, good quality and not so expensive. It comes with a rubber boot that protects it against falls. If the fall is to hard, the screen might damage.

Love this instant read thermometer. The display numbers are clear and easy to read. Very accurate as well. The little rubber cover is a nice bonus; it keeps the probe clean and safe from breakage

Good thermometer at a good price. This is our farmers market thermometer, not fancy but when the health department comes around to do their inspection we're all set

We keep buying these for use in our restaurant due to the price point, but the quality isn't tremendous. The face pops off easily then affects the temperature gauge. Good for low level use not great for high turnover restaurants.

The only thermometers we use! They last a long time are have stood up to plenty of drops on the floor and best of all they're digital so you don't waste so much time calibrating.

Only downfall to this thermometer is the sleeve can be loose and doesn't hold the thermometer properly. Otherwise, great thermometer to have for most applications in the kitchen.

I like this newer model of the Taylor thermometer so much more! The rubber boot on it is great and makes it much easier to clean off. I also prefer this style of click button compared to the switch button.

a very professional thermometer we use ares for so much. no matter the meat we are smoking we would not me able to do it with out this!

Works for not so busy environment. Else get the thermocoupler type which is a lot faster. I only use this for the home which is good enough.

This is a good thermometer for the price. It comes with a protective sleeve and an extra battery. You can take the temperature in either F or C.

I was pleased with the Taylor instant read pocket thermometer. I tucked the extra battery into the bottom of the rubber boot so I wouldn't lose it. It took about 60 seconds to read the temp of my smoked chicken.

this thermometer is easy and quick to read, and comes with a protected cover. every employee in my business could easy learning to use it.

I like this thermometer, I really do but it's far from perfect. First off all, it's not instant read. It can take several seconds if you're reading something HOT. Second of all the thermometer separates from the storage sleeve easier than I would like to see. Thirdly the clip is not all that strong. So it might separate from your jacket pocket easier than what you might expect. With all that being said, it's not a bad little thermometer for the price.

This is a good quality thermometer probe. It appears to display an accurate temperature but time will tell if it holds up. I wish the display was a little larger.

Bought two, one for son who grills quite a bit. I used mine for fried chicken the other day and it was great. It does take a while to read, but fine for price.

I've always like the taylor line of the thermometers I find Digital ones to be very accurate , which is good to keep the health inspector off your back..

This is my go to thermometer. They are perfectly accurate and extremely durable. We use them multiple times a day for multiple applications - from ensuring our salads and dressings are being held at proper (cold) temperatures to finding the precise moment to take our meats out of the smoker (hot!), this little wonder does it all. They read quickly -- the thermometer reaches it's readable temp in half the time of a dial thermometer. Great buy.
