This is a high quality sharpening steel. It has very good weight to it and honed my chef's knife very well. The handle has a hook for easy hanging. Great product!

It works great for sharpening knives, but sadly it's just too heavy to fit on a magnetic knife rack. I wish I would've realized this before purchasing, as I probably would've chosen a slightly more expensive 10" steel instead.

Works like a charm. I use this to sharpen bread knife and it works. of course need to becarefull when use it to sharpen the bread knife, otherwise instead of sharp, you could ruin the knife. i use this to sharpen bread knife every 2 weeks

Easy to use does a great job of keeping the edge the steel it’s made out of is not the highest quality as the edge smoothies pretty quickly our in-house butcher goes through about one every six months but he’s cutting meat 40 hours a week so he uses it quite often we keep additional ones on the hotline it’s a great tool to have in the kitchen

I don't know about you but I can't stand dull knives. It drives me nuts and every time I have ever cut myself it has been with a dull knife. This 12" steel is perfect for keeping the knife sharp. Every few times I pick up the knife I like to sharpen it so the edge stays sharp. With this steel I have knives that are always ready to cut.

This is a solid honing steel. I have a much more expensive german one, but this 12" round is the one I reach for more often. It feels heavy duty, but isn't so heavy that it's tough to wield easily. The hand guard at the bottom has saved me from more than a few cuts, as well.

Great Sharpening steel! I have one that is over 15 years old that this replaced and it works like a charm. The loop on the end is convenient for hanging.

I love this steel. It has a good heft so you can maintain good control without wearing yourself out. The sharpening surface makes for a nice sharp edge on your knife with just a few strokes.
