This is heavy duty and the perfect size. I love grinding up herbs I grow from my garden. I also use this to grind up medicine. This is a must have if you grow a lot of herbs.

Solid mortar and pestle! Love the size because it is not too big or too small. I make basil pesto in this when making a pound of pasta for dinner and we just love it.

Very sturdy and good quality. Also looks great in the kitchen. I would definitely buy more to give as gift for housewarming. Would definitely recommend.

Great quality mortar and Pestle, but very small. I was on the hunt for one that I could use to grind a range of spices in my home kitchen, but this one was a tad too small to accommodate just about anything but a few peppercorns. I bet it would work really well for grinding up pills.

I much prefer a smooth M&P over the rough, porous one I used to have. It can be a bit slippery to work with, but that it just the nature of the beast.

I like to use this mortar and pestle for grinding down salt to use in popcorn. It's a small size, perfect for a few tablespoons worth of salt.

Great product, great price! I have a small home apothecary as well as rescuing dogs and several of them require medication/supplements, but are great at finding it and hiding it, so this little life saver comes in handy and allows me to quickly grind up their medication/supplements so that it can easily be added to their food without detection. The quality is great, especially for the price, and looks great on my apothecary cabinet shelf when not in use. I would definitely recommend and am buying again in a larger size.

This is a perfect tool for mashing my garlic and onions for my sauces. The hand tool is small enough to crush the pieces that you need and it has the perfect weight so you don’t feel like you will break it in use. It is a little heavy so be careful that it will not fall off of your countertop. For the price this is way better quality than I was expecting.

This is a decent heavy mortar and pestle. Seems like it can be a good workhorse. Would be improved by a stickier base, need to be sure to hold it with one hand.

Mortar and pestle results are always better than a blade grinder if you have the patience to use it. I find it so useful I wish I had the larger one, so I'll be buying another soon.

This mortar and pestle is beautiful! It works great for mashing avocado, spices, and nuts (to break their shells). It is nice and heavy too, so it doesn’t move around while you’re mixing things.

The tiny 4" Marble Mortar and Pestle Set are a fine addition to my kitchen its look and feel quality but its super small maybe good for mashing garlic or spices.

We use this in our bar rather than our kitchen, as it's pretty small! However, it looks great and feels like a quality product, being proper marble.

I’m a home baker and this is the perfect size for the small batches I’m accustomed to. I love this little mortar and pestle set. Works great for very small batches of spices and allows me to use wet spices and herbs that I wouldn’t be able to use in an electric grinder. Since it is fairly small I can hold the Mortar in my hand rather than working on the countertop which could cause some markings on the countertop. This is something I will definitely use often. If this were to ever break I would buy again from here!

This is a really awesome and good looking marble mortal and pestle set. It is very heavy and thick and woks great for grind up garlic and chilies.

This is probably the most beautiful thing in my kitchen. It is definitely a solid piece and has weight to it. The inside is ridged all the way to the middle and the pestle is smooth on the sides but still gives a good grip.

all in all, a great mortar and pestle. perfect size for most smaller or individual jobs and very sturdy. the only downside I've experienced is that the white color causes some spices to stain the inside of the bowl to get a little stained
