Reviews for Regency 20" x 15" x 5" Drawer with Stainless Steel Front

This is an absolute nightmare to assemble. Honestly had I known it would be this painful and frustrating to assemble I would never have bought these drawers. As another reviewer described the z brackets shipped are thick. Already broke 2 titanium drills bits that are specifically designed for metal. Literally have no idea how other reviewers were able to get these installed. Video is misleading and gives false sense of how "easy" it is to install.

Great storage optoin. And very easy to install. I believe it took about 20 min. All you need is a good drill and some self tapping screws. Plenty of space inside for utensils and knives.

I was adding a Regency drawer to a work table that was donated. The volunteer that added it had to add another piece that dropped it down to make it work (not flush, but in the end it functions and help us stay organized and have a place for cutting boards and sharp knives.

These are easy to install and hold lots of utensils and small wares. The one thing is that the drawers came a little bent but I can't say if this happened during shipping or they were sent this way. We were able to straighten them out and they still slide well.

I give the Regency 20" x 15" x 5" drawer stainless steel drawer five stars. This size is smaller than the other Regency drawer I purchased but this one is used to store my grill cooking utensils and accessories. It is great since I have limited storage space. It was very easy to install and it's very sturdy. I have recommend this to many of my friends in the restaurant business.

I ordered this for a table... unfortunetly the table was to big for my new food truck. Totally my fault! The drawer is nice and would have been great but in order to get the right size one i have to pay a hefty restocking fee plus shipping. I'd be getting less than half of what I paid. But the drawer is good and I'd recommend. Make sure you get right size or you mind as well sell it online rather than return it.

Wow, incredible! So glad i found out these exist. It was a bit difficult to install the first time, but I feel like that's just a bit of a learning curve. Planning to purchase them for all my prep tables. Love the stainless insert for cleaning and the draw moves very smoothly.

I wanted 2 drawers to go under the table that I purchased (#600T3048G Regency 30" x 48" 18-Gauge 304 Stainless Steel Commercial Work Table with Galvanized Legs and Undershelf). After some checking with customer service, I ordered these and they fit perfectly.

Terrible quality made in China. It requires drilling and doesn't even specify what size hole to drill. The hardware is supposed to be "self tapping screws" but appear to be regular metal screws. Will be returning at a 20% "restocking fee" and cost of shipping back. What a joke!

Sadly, pretty cheap construction for the price. Does not come with fasteners to attach to table. You need sheet metal screws and drill to install, I knew I would have to drill but thought adding four sheet metal screws wasn't too much to expect. Z brackets were not long enough for my table so I had to combine two on each side to reach the hat channels and stack the two drawers instead of installing side by side. You may want to double check distance between your hat channels to make sure the z brackets will reach. Three out of four welds on the cross braces on the top of the drawer frames were broken. Since I had to double up the z brackets, I just drilled through the cross brace ends and used that as a third connection to the z brackets.  Read More

Drawer came a little bent. No padding in the box whatsoever. Did not include screws for the table, just the drawer itself. Super hard time drilling the holes into the table. Took way longer than expected. Think drawer could slide with better ease. As far as size, I got the larger one and it stores a lot of tool. Serves it's purpose.

Z clip was too short. it was shorter than pictures and the instructions. it was 3 inches shorted than the drawer assembly. Had to use my own angle to extend

Looks Great. Pretty quick and easy to put together. Seems to be sturdy and well put together. Excited to see how it helps our future ministry.

Great product to help you meet code on a food truck. Would buy the product again as it has gotten the job done. Highly recommend.

This is a great brand for stainless steel table/storage needs for any food place. We use this drawer with a compatible size stainless steel work table by Regency. Good price, easy to clean, super durable, and a must have item with stainless steel work tables. Perfect to store so many things. We use ours to store cooking and baking utensils.

Not so "easy" to install. The drawer seems to be of good quality, but the hardware does not come with pre-drilled holes for mounting via the z-bracket. Watch the instructional video for installation instructions... My product seems to have a heftier bracket than shown, with rounded corners and perhaps a harder steel. I've gone through a dozen carbide drill bits, made for drilling hardened steel, tried drilling pilot holes, used lubricant, etc. and still I can barely make a dent in the brackets. After spending a day on this and a couple of trips to home depot for more drill bits, I'm going to give up and take it to a machine shop.

you need to buy these if you need drawer space. I purchased 4 to fit in my new tables. they were easy to install and easy to square up. adds a lot of space. they are huge.

This is a very heavy duty drawer that will go with a metal shelf very nicely. The drawer moves smoothly and does not get stuck. The drawer is the perfect size for most kitchen equipment and tools.

Exceptionally well made stainless steel drawer. I purchased (1) of these to make sure it would be able to mount under my non-regency table. These are much larger in person. Will easily provide ample space for your storage needs. I'm going to purchase (2) more drawers next week. I plan to create an installation video once they arrive. Goona be awesome, so excited. FYI, I plan on getting 3 more regency tables to finish my industrial kitchen design.. A 24x30, 60x24, 36x24.

Bought four of these for our dish rooms. although they look very nice looking and the drawers seem to roll smooth. they are VERY light weight in construction. One of them had welds broke but the company that was intalling them was able to reweld it. another on had one of the glides bend which I was easily able to straighten back because of how light of gauge metal they are constructed with. We have other drawers in another area of the kitchen that are night and day better in quality.

drawer was best thing in kitchen for small utensils. installation was very easy. you need to be good with numbers when figuring out where to install.

These drawers were an excellent addition to the stainless steel table I purchased on this site. The drawers open and close smoothly and add extra storage where we needed it. My only complaint is that they don't close as tightly as I would like so food often falls inside the drawers.

If you dent a drawer there is no replacements they tell you the only thing you can do it re buy the whole set.

One drawer broke within 3 months.

Terrible construction. All of the welds are broken. Every single panel is dented beyond use. Not worth the money at all! I spent hours straighting and welding everything back together.

They sold an item with a broken piece... I think maybe it was a returned item and now I get to pay full price ... also a welder charges 85$ dollars an hour

We bought 3 of these drawers to attach to some Regency tables. Installation is fairly straightforward if you have the right tools. The purpose of these are great and work out great for us. The reason for only 3 stars is the god-awful sound they make when opening or closing them. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard. We bought a different size one years ago and it never made that sound.

I love the size of the drawers. They are supposed to open and close easily. I bought 3 of them, 2 are installed and they make this terrible squeaking chaulk-like sound every time we open or close them. I had someone come look at them to see if they are installed correctly and he is going to make a makeshift piece of wood to put in between the actual drawer and the bracket holding the drawer. I am hopeful but now I have another $ in expenses dumped into these 2 drawers. I avoid opening either of the drawers because of the terrible noise. I would not purchase these again.

Purchased this drawer with a brand-new table. Upon opening the heavily damaged box - we discovered the weld on the top of the drawer was separated. Pieces of the metal were bent, and the instructions for installation were terrible. It took way longer to install than necessary due to nothing being labeled. The drawer is not squared up and makes a horrible screeching sound when opening. It looks great and holds a good amount of things, but not sure I would purchase another.

Ok these are entry level i would say. One thing i dont like is that they slam when are being close so i have 2 other with self closing. Spend a bit more and you get what you pay for.

This drawer was installed on the Regency 24" x 48" 16-Gauge worktable. It arrived in 4 days in perfect condition. It's heavy stainless steel with good quality roller bearings. It was very easy to install and works perfectly. The welds on the cross member are weak spot welds. One broke when I lifted the frame out of the box. I drilled both ends of the cross member and installed nuts, washers and bolts to keep it in place. Installation tips: The Z-brackets were east to install. I used hardware from a hardware store: Bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts to attach the Z-brackets to the drawer and then adhesive and self-tapping sheet metal screws (big ones with rubber washers) to attach the Z-brackets to the tabletop. It's very secure and not going to fall off. When drilling remember, metal requires a center-punch dimple, a drop of oil, a sharp drill bit, and SLOW drill speed. A fast drill speed will only heat up the bit and slide around.

not easy to install, broke multiple drill bits and took a long time to get though the z-brackets. also the brackets that hold the drawer in place are not welded to the frame on the front side which scrapes the drawer when you pull in and out making a screeching metal sound and you can see the scratches on the drawer. Looks great after 2hrs of install and if you dont mind sticky drawers.

had an issue that was resolved in minutes. may not be the "top of the line" but the service is and that is what matters!

I got two drawer for my kitchen and they where easy to install ans work great. I will be ordering a couple more is always a time saver to have items close to the work stations.

We attached this drawer to our 6' regency table and it looks great! It can be screwed in with self tappers anywhere on the table.

I am here ordering my 3rd Regency drawer. We use these on our bakery counter. For the most part they do well. One of our drawer faces fell off soon after purchasing it. We have it zipped tied to the drawer which isn't the prettiest thing but it does work. I haven't been able to find any replacement parts to just be able to order a new drawer. It is definitely not the most sturdy on the market but it is great for the price.

This drawer goes perfect with the commercial stainless steel table we purchased on this site as well (Regency 18" x 48" 18-Gauge 304 Stainless Steel Commercial Work Table with Galvanized Legs and Undershelf). Holds utensils and other kitchen tools and gadgets that are needed in kitchen/sink area. Best price around too.

Added two of these to my 30x60 Regency table. Big capacity and slides good. A little bent in places on both drawers like others stated but does not affect performance on ours. Will be buying more in future to add to more prep tables as needed.
