It’s a nice dicer as long as the blades are razor sharp... if not it pretty much juices it into a pulp. I still prefer a knife to it, but it’s wonderful for someone without safe knife skills or without the desire to learn any.

We LOVE this chopper, and although there are cheaper options, we wouldn't trade our Nemco 55500-2 3/8" Easy Chopper Vegetable Dicer. It has provided us with 4 years of daily onion dicing. We've put thousands of pounds through the dicer and we're just now needed to refurb the pieces. We're replacing the blades, bumpers and push block after 4 years. This has been one of our best investments. It's cut down on waste and increased productivity.

This item is terrible....it compacts tomatoes or onions into a pulp and is very difficult to return. With return shipping and a restocking fee it doesn't really make s sense to return it. Please don't waste your money.

This machine has paid for itself over and over with how much time and labor it saves. You can also change out the cut blade to different sizes very easily.

It’s solid product. But smaller then the one we had before but works great and sharp. Came on time and fast. We love using this site.

Nemco is #1 for vegetable choppers, never ever had an issue with any of their products. I would suggest this product to anyone, it will last a long time and it's very durable.

Very easy to use. I only wished that the base was taller so that I could dice longer vegetables in one shot instead of having to cut it in half and then dice.

I really like the Easy Chopper Vegetable Dicer. Its easy to use and clean . I only wish it came its a container that fit under it.

Our restaurant has used this model of Nemco Dicer for almost eight years on a daily basis to dice tomatoes. The original is almost worn out after eight years and we were not hesitant to order another of the same 55500 model. A great product!

This Nemco Easy Chopper is great, although I strongly recommend the larger Easy Chopper 3 instead. It's wider cutting area can fit larger onions and bell peppers, whereas this Easy Chopper 1 requires you to first cut your vegetables in half in order to fit the chopping space. But it's a great design, and I bought both this model and the newer one.

This is and awesome chopper if you wanna make your life easier and save a lot of time in the kitchen this is the way to go a great advantage to have this tool in our kitchen

Makes chopping onions alot faster, but it is a pain in the butt to clean! And you have to slice the onions or they are very long chunks.

Great slicer. It puts less wear and tear on the employee and has a smooth chop. We chop onions on it daily and it needs new blades every few weeks. Even with the cost of replacing the blades it is well worth the price.

Heavy duty and takes a beating! I like how easy it is to disassemble to clean. I haven't had to reorder a blade and its been over a year!

Cut labor in half with this machine. We use it for pico de gallo, mango salsa, and to dice tomatoes. Easy to clean. Easy to store

this chopper is ok it chopper my vegetables ok put i have to push it up and down 5 times be for the price it is good .

I'm not a religious man, but, halleluja! For the last year, I've spent an hour and a half each morning dicing tomatoes. I have to admit that I was skeptical that this gizmo would be able to dice tomatoes without clogging on the skin or otherwise smushing the tomato flesh, but it proved me wrong. And thank goodness! I just diced 40 tomatoes (after coring, quartering and gutting) in eight minutes! Not only that, it's a beautiful, tight little 1/4" dice that looks better than if I had chopped it by hand! And if you consider that I would otherwise be paying someone $10 an hour to do what this thing does, it's going to pay for itself in about a week. Thank you, Nemco! I think I'll go to sleep tonight clutching this thing like a teddy bear!

Great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking to replace older equipment. I will continue to use these whenever we open more stores.

This baby rocks! We have one in each of our locations and it helped to speed up prep significantly and increase consistency between locations. It\\'s also a lot safer than a knife for those who are not so skilled in the kitchen.

Worth every penny. It has saved us a ton of time on prep and almost don't know how we got by without it. Only con is that the area where food is placed good be bigger.

WE use to cut the peppers by hand... but until nemco saved our lives! Literally cut a whole bag of onion in 10 minutes. 25 Bell peppers in 5 minutes, no joke!

You would not belive how much time the Easy Chopper saves. Easy to use. I use this for diceing onion and bell peppers for pizza. I am looking into a slicer for our sub sandwich veg.

Big time saver! This has cut our labor a great deal, can dice a case of tomatoes in no time flat. Works great with onions, green peppers and all other veg. Have used for the last few months and has been a great addition!

This item is awesome light, handy, sharp, very good for red and green pepper tomato and all the veggie and you can dice even hard veggie like potato.
