We have been using this pepper mill in our restaurant for years. Only recently have I had to replace one. They are very durable (more so than Peugeot which has a tendency to break at the base). In the event that it is dropped, it does not show wear and tear or chipping like other pepper mills tend to do. It's look is sleek and classic. Also, the grind adjustment at the top works better than most other pepper mills,

This pepper grinder really is a great looking addition to any table setting. Initially, I was worried that this mill would be too tall, but it isn't. The wood is smooth and dark and has a classic appearance. The metal band is a nice addition and adds a modern twist. Really well made.

These pepper mills are sturdy, smooth functioning and elegant in appearance. We are very happy with this purchase and would definitely order them again as needed.
