These are nice, think of a sturdy q tip with a wooden handle and one end. They are packaged in a sealed plastic medical type pouch that is not labeled sterile or not, but the product description says they are sterilized.

The number one thing I look for in a cotton swab is that the cotton is securely fastened on the stick. I'm happy to report this one is securely fastened so you can swab an injury without cotton coming off in the cut. Perfect addition to your first aid kit.

These Medique cotton tip applicator is good to apply antibiotic ointment with. This is to clean and or disinfect small cuts. It's more sanitary that way

These are good cotton applicators The swab stays together well, and the sticks are longer than standard q-tips and more rigid. They fit well in most first aid kits and come well sealed. My only issue with them is that the package isn't re-usable; I would have preferred a ziplock type bag with individual wrappers on the swabs, but I'm still satisfied for he price paid.
