Our fellow home brewers are so excited for the wide base of this burner. It fits the large and smaller brew kettles. Our brewers love it.

Built to last and support big pots. It heats up my 60qt in now time and could hold a much larger pot. Easy to adjust from boil to simmer.

Excellent burner for boiling 5 to 10 gallon batches of wort for all grain homebrewing. The pot sits closer the burner assembly and the control works precisely to control boiling to prevent boiling over, especially at the initial hot break and first hop addition. Build quality of the burner assembly is superior to some others.

If you don't have a gas stove this is simply a must have. Don't waste money getting a bbq with a side burner because those are still just 1 psi and don't get hot enough to cook a thing. flame ranges from rocket flame to gentle. This makes searing meat a pleasure. Wok cooking a breeze. boiling large pots of water easy, and quick. flame can also be lowered for simmering.

Super powerful! Burner puts out crazy heat. Easy to control. Disapointingly, the paint burns off right away. Boiled a 100qt pot of tomatos in 30minutes.

Excellent duability. Very easy to assemble. States "large 17" cooking surface", but I am using it with my 100 qt pot that is 20 1/4" in diameter. Heats fast.

Love this thing. Use it for outdoor frying, deep frying and boiling. We make fries, chicharrones, battered fish, paella, soup stock, and pasta. Keeps the heat and strong smells outdoors in the summer, and makes it easier to make accompaniments when the rest of the meal is on the grill.

not flexible to adjust the heat. the burner is small than expected. i am looking some thing more stable ( not moving ) surface .

My experience says that I would never recommend this item. I bought a different one, and it functions perfectly. What a waste of money, and I never imagined that I would come back to this site to write reviews.

So far it's okay. It really holds my 80qt stock pot well. But you can only use this product during summer because it's less windy at that time. I tried using it out door during cold weather and it was a bad idea. Overall it light up really well and am sure it will definitely hold a larger pot

We purchased this along with an 80 quart stock pot to serve our employees beef stew. (i served 100 bowls of soup on a very cold day!) it heated up much quicker than we ever expected. We are very pleased with our purchase! Looking forward to serving many more meals for our employees!

HEAVY DUTY! This is a must when using large heavy stock pots. We've had two of these for about 2 years and not had a simple issue.

Not good for wok use It does not seem very hot (it takes a long time for my garlic to sizzle), the wind blows the flame when it is on high--dangerous!; there's too much room around the sides of the wok, so the heat is not focused; and the heat control dial is on the tank and not the unit. This may be great for boiling large pots of water (didn't try--see others' reviews), but I tried it maybe 5 times and it is not good for outdoor wok use. I need to buy something else.

I ordered The Backyard Pro Outdoor Range. Arrived yesterday; lightweight cardboard carton was somewhat damaged. Considering the weight of this grill I would have expected much heavier packaging. The burner was connected to the base by only one screw, the two others were loose in the box, one is missing. It took me over four hours to put those screws in place with the help of needle nose pliers, smaller screws to maintain alignment, and a phillips screwdriver. That was quite a feat, thankfully I am a mechanically minded man. The manual included was not for my grill; there are no pictures in of my grill. Once I had everything "fixed," I attached a propane tank to it and it appears to work fine for what I bought it. ThI give the grill five stars at this point, but your packaging and making sure the screws are tightened so they do not come out rates a one star. So, I concede and give you three overall. Jim

I am so pleased with this stove! I have not yet tried it, because I have to get a bottle of propane, but it is very heavy construction, immensely stable, and comfortably holds my 26" round bottom, Cantonese wok, with perfect stability and no need for a wok ring. This stove is for my mobile restaurant, and I can see how it will facilitate easy, comfortable cooking. It's a much more robust stove than I expected.

This burner is absolutely amazing! It took around 1 hour on 3/4 strength to bring 6 gallons to boil...and this was in 40 degree conditions!!! What a buy.

I'm not sue where to put the rating on these to be honest. We have multiples. Some I would give 5 stars and some I would only give 2. The lower stared ones are mostly because they only put out half the heat of the ones I would give 5 stars. Maybe something is wrong with their regulators I don't know. But other than that if you aren't cooking in the wind these are great. We use them for onsite cooking and personally for canning, we run large 40+ quart pans on them.

What a great burner. I bought this for my micro brewery and it looks like it will work perfect. My initial test was on a camping/hunting trip where the temp never got above 20 degrees in the day. It made fast work of the gravy, hamburgers and fried burritos we cooked on it. The other added benefit was it heated the wall tent up extremely fast, even with the door open. I have already recommended this to a few other guys for there breweries and would suspect they will order one for the smaller 5-15 gallon batches.

I really love this outdoor range. It is easy to set up and burns very high. It is made of thick metal and will last a long time. Would work great as a turkey fryer! Love it!

This burner is great for homebrewing beer. While it says 210k BTUs, it actually gets about 78k with the included 10 PSI hose. For that reason I gave it 4 stars. I have no doubt it can burn hotter with a higher pressure hose, but it’s fine as is for me. Great product and great price.

I got this unit fast! that was awesome!!. the only reason I took a star off is that on the 1st firing of it huge amounts of paint burned off the rings and legs. It caused really bad smells and caused s to have to stand a ways away from the unit to keep from having to inhale the fumes. while this doesn't hurt the cooking in anyway it is kind of a problem for those of us that have breathing issues. while I am using to clean items and not cook it does not matter any more than that.

It burns very strong, but the the black color that paint on the frame peeled off at the first time that I use it. Over all, it is ok.

This was my very first camping trip with this burner and it was a great delight. I cook every day o. This for 5 days morning and night. Fresh fish from the the river and garden vegetables. Thank you for making my 1st camping trip a success with my family. I think I can say your family now.

This is one of the fastest and great burner range stove for cooking. Heats up super fast. Loved the durable heavy duty can handle big pots. I strongly recommend and will make another purchase.

We use this for home brewing delicious beer. It works great once you figure out the correct venting for the propane. It boils water 10x faster than electric stovetop. I do have one complaint though. The first two times we used it, the paint flew off in little pieces every where. Be careful it can be super hot if it gets your skin. Luckily none got in our beer!

Works great, converted to natural gas for convenience. Heavy duty stand with large top easily holds a 14” diameter pot. Has 1/8 NPT thread for gas inlet.

I am updating my original review. I was concerned about the 10 psi regulator but after using it, thats no longer a concern. Much more flame and heat than my old small burner. Jet engine like. The real test is when I used it with my 80 qt boil pot. On my old burner I could not get water to boil after two hours. With this one, I actually used more water and only turned it up 3/4 high. Full boil in 9 minutes. So it rocks. Also sturdy and I like the windscreen. Excellent value.

I primarily use this burner for home brewing. It definitely heats up product quickly, but is very sensitive to wind, so you need to be aware of where you set it to avoid it blowing out or being robbed of heat. The regulator adjustment can also be finicky.

I highly recommend purchasing this product. This outdoor stove is durable, easy to use, provides excellent heat, and it is sold at a great price!

This item as sold with a cheap regulator and hose, DOES NOT put out 210,000 BTU's. Our old 70,000 Btu burner works as well. When we contacted the company about their product, we were given the run around. They wanted us to be able to test the BTU output. We had no way of doing that other than by performance. This product AS SOLD with a 10 psi hose, ABSOLUTELY IS NOT at 210,000 Btu. It does not perform or work any better than our old 70,000 BTU unit. Because we can not measure the exact BTU output the company is unwilling to stand behind the product as sold. We will take or business elsewhere.

This product works perfectly for our application. We have it mounted underneath a ten gallon double boiler used for canning maple syrup. This burner has dramatically reduced the time to heat up the syrup for us. We also made it removable so we can use it for other uses.

Burner works ok but don’t expect anything fantastic. With the setup out of the box it takes about 40-45 minutes to boil 10-12 gallons of water and that’s in 90 degree summer temperatures. If you want it to work well you’ll need to be willing to invest more money in a good high flow adjustable regulator instead of the cheap mass produced one it comes with. Even then it’s only maybe marginally better than a cheaper burner with a correct regulator/ orifice setup.

Got in yesterday. Hard to adjust the air shutter but finally got the hang of it. One of the hole would not light up. Finally have to use a nail and hammer to break thru that hole. Boil 5 gallons water this morning and it is fast. But the paint got burned (as shown in photo). How come the legs are being squeezed inward, making it less stable than if they were kept at same as the top (where pots rest). In fact it would even be more reasonable to spread the legs out so it will be more stable.

This thing is powerful like a jet engine. Will bring a large pot of water to a boil in no time. Love the fact that it is rather short to minimize the risk of it "tipping over". Highly recommend

When I first lit this up I was concerned it would not reach 200,000 BTU's as advertised but after 10min of burn time the flame was much stronger. You will have to wait at least 10 minutes before turning it up past 50%. Heated up 14 gallons of water very fast in freezing cold temps & was easy to control. Definitely recommend for any brewing past 10gallons. The one thing I don't like is how the paint burns off. If there was an aluminum model I'd jump on that.

i like this single burner stove because it's flame is strong and cooking fast in less propane gas consumption. first i order just one, and second i order another one for my friend, after he see my stove he loved it and told me to order one for him. It is very use full, i will recommended for your small party cooking up to 50 to 60 people.

This Backyard Pro burner is amazing. My last burner was a 50,000 BTU burner and I thought that it heated a 50 quart pot fast. Well let me tell you this 210,000 BTU burner puts it all to shame. I can heat a 50 quart pot in no time at all. The burner heats clean and doesn't let any carbon on the bottom of my pots. If you do crab, shrimp, or peanut boild this burner is great.
