I LOVE these jars!! I use them for so many different things. I use them as cookie jars, to hold homemade powdered laundry detergent, bath salts, and bird seed.

I wasn't thinking straight and it's hard to know the size online, but this jar is like monstrous! I am not sure why people use it to store cookies because there's no seal and the lid just sits on the top. I think it's good if we use it for some kind of display .. With flower?

Didn't realize how huge this glass jar is until I got it. I love the size though. Opens up a ton of possibilities. Smaller jars have always been a challenge for me to store biscotti in, but not this one.

Nice large jar. I like that it comes with the glass lid, even though it's not a super tight seal. Overall very well made and good price.

Great quality glass and perfect! Solid jar and would/will buy again if needed. Used to hold candy for an event; jar's lid was opened and closed over 500 times, and no breakage or problems whatsoever.

I purchased this to make my bulk home made yogurt. It holds 2 gallons of heated milk with starter culture easily. I like the wide rim compared to the jar I used before for ease of removing finished yogurt without waste.

Nice jar. Fits well in my yoghurt maker but the lid has gone rusty within 2 weeks of purchase. I am using an alternative plastic lid I had at home.

The Anchor Hocking 1/2 gallon jar is a great buy and perfect for displaying candies and chocolates at our candy shop. The lid is easy to remove and very heavy duty.

Very fragile, but gives off the classic bakery look out shop needed! We use our XL cookies inside of them which are about five inches in length!

Webstaurant offers them at such an affordable price, you can buy multiples in various different sizes to store flour, sugar, oats, etc.
