The reason for this low rating is that the sink began to develop rust on the inside weld seams just days after installation (see photo). At that point, it hadn't been used in production and was not subject to any kind of substance that would compromise its surface. After several communications with customer service we learned that this was essentially a utility sink designed for "back-of-house" purposes. We were also informed that this sink should be dried after each use. We found none of the ensuing customer service responses to be satisfying. Granted, at its price point we should have seen this coming, but we feel that more information on this product's shortcomings should have been published up front.

I haven't even used it once and the surface has never been exposed to water yet it's already rusty all around the seams and corners. I live in a very dry climate, too. Extremely disappointed.

Besides arriving in a torn box and having two dents in the side and back, this purchase was a total fail. Now after having it installed and plumbed in, such a waste of efforts! I would've gladly payed for another brand if I knew this wouldn't even last me a week without showing rust. Junk!

As they say you get what you pay for. There is a reason why this is one of the cheapest sinks on the site, We have used this sink for less than a week and it is already showing signs of rust. I do not expect this sink to last as for more than even a year before we have holes in it from the rust. Furthermore the sink does not drain well unless you level the sink perfectly (when I say perfectly I mean it can not even be off by a hair, otherwise water will stand on the corner of the sink. If I could do this purchase all over again, I would have added a few hundred dollars for something that will last for a long time.

This was very disappointed, it was only tack welded, as soon put the legs on, one came out. Now, I must pay someone to do the welding. If only I could get them a "NO" star. Everything was only tack welded.

I like the looks and size of this sink, but after only having it installed for a week, it is already rusting in the seams. Very disappointing!

I am so disappointed!!! This sink rusts in the seams on inside of the sink. Chatted with an agent and they tell me normal... NORMAL. All they told me was how to clean it. We installed the sink looked good there was a little scratch on the backsplash inside but no big deal. 2 weeks later (it isn't a sink we use everyday) I go to wash the sink out and do a task and RUST!!! I hope someone reaches out to me based on this post and if you are thinking of buying look at my pictures before you do so. Darn, I was really excited about this purchase.

Purchased Dec '20, installed Jan '21. Now after daily use for 2 years I can tell you there are no rust issues or drainage complaints to report. During the first couple of months a few small rust spots were observed but were a result of weld spatter from construction. After a few cleanings these disappeared. I carefully leveled the unit when installed and have not had any drainage issues. The bottom is flatter than some other sinks but for my application that happens to be good. I'm guessing that other users have purchased this for dishwashing and would like a faster and cleaner drainage. I use the sink in a power equipment, golf car and equipment maintenance shop so it has survived rough use and still looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend this sink but know what you are buying for your use!

The spot welds attaching the legs to the basin are horribly weak. Just lifting the sink up after attaching the legs, they start to wobble and shift on the welds. Poor craftmanship. I am afraid to fill it with water and see it collapse. Ill either try to return it or use wood or steel to reinforce or hire a welder to fix it.

As others have mentioned, there is not enough slope in the bottom of the sink, so water stands on the bottom. Also, I recently discovered that when I ran a dehumidifier hose into the corner of the sink, water leaked from the inside corner to the outside and down the leg to the floor.

Should've listened to the other reviews.. Water pools and doesn't all drain out. Have to squeegee water to drain and dry with a towel. Any small puddle of water left in the sink is completely rusted by next day and has to be scrubbed. Poor quality.

Installed this product in July and in October the leg fell off. The weld was done poorly as you can see in the phone. I inquired on a replacement and was told the unit warranty is only a month. The product should be more durable than 4 months before a weld falls apart.

You get what you pay for ! The legs will quickly become rusty and then wobbly, We had to make some fixings of our own. Will definitely have to replace it.

We’re very happy with the appearance of this sink. We haven’t used it yet, so I’m unable to rate function and durability. But the installation went well, so we’ll see how it goes!

Second time I have purchased this item, this time for a new home. Excellent quality. Superb function.

Cheaply made sink. The legs are barely welded on and one of them fell off during installation. It’s already installed so will be a pain to return. There isn’t a good slope towards the drain so even when level water puddles on the bottom. This used to be my go to site for purchases but the quality has declined. Wish I would have seen the reviews before buying this sink, it’s junk.

The shipping was really questionable. It arrived with part of the product sticking out of the makeshift box, and was dented and bent upon opening.

This is the poorest quality sink I have seen in years. The sink is rusting inside the sink at all of the seams. The process started slowly but now no amount of cleaning as stated on the website seems to work. When I called to complain I was told the sink is "out of warranty as was not meant for on commercial use". This should never be an issue, but this is what happens when you sell defective products.

Spacious and clean these sink really helps get the job done. Weather it’s washing cups buckets it’s seems to be able to handle it all while still having plenty of room to work around.

Purchased this Steelton 24" 16-Gauge Stainless Steel One Compartment Commercial Utility Sink to replace a 30 year old plastic laundry tub sink in my shop. I am sure glad I did. I should have done this years ago. Price was really good and delivery was free and fast.

I won’t buy industrial sinks from anywhere but Webstaurant Store. They are basic but great quality and I’ve never had issues with installation. Shipping generally very fast as well.

Purchased this sink, drain boards and faucet when we remodeled my soap making studio. Too bad we didn't have the space for a 2 basin but this one is doing the job perfectly - next time!

The sink is beautiful and functional, so much better than the white plastic sinks at other home improvement stores. Using it for a tiny space next to the washer and dryer in my garage.

I would highly recommend this 24" 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Utility Sink. I am actually using it at a home as a laundry sink. It is pretty strong and rust proof.

Purchased this tub to replace a cheapo plastic laundry tub from the big box stores. Worth every penny spent, and this model is a nice size for home laundry tub as it is not overly large wasting space. My water is impossibly hard, so everything water in my home has to be stainless. Also very handsome compared to plastic. From here on out I am only purchasing commercial grade equipment for the rest of my renovation, done buying big box junk for the home. If you are reading this review JUST buy it, not that expensive considering once and done. Stop buying plastic from big box stores.

Bought this sink beginning of March 2020, took me a week to install due to online ordered parts for faucet install. Two weeks later of light use rust is forming at the bottom edges inside the sink. Customer service tells me this is a lower grade 430 stainless steel and requires drying at the end of the day to prevent rust. Who on this earth does this to a utility sink. Never heard of it or never experienced a stainless steel sink rusting years later let alone 2 weeks later. It was used with light chemicals such as Pinesol. No Chlorine was used as of now. I can't see this sink holding up in a commercial place such as a restaurant.

Works great and easy to clean. it fits perfectly in our small space. I work in manufacturing. Everyone can wash their arms, hands, and tools with ease.

Our hand washing sink is very useful and very sturdy it has held up really well and used a good bit from our kitchen staff.

I ordered this on a Thursday early and it was there the next day late. I was so surprised by its's arrival, I had yet to finish the flooring in the room in which I'm using the sink. The sink was inspected, in perfect condition, and the shipping was more than adequate (the 30 or 40 foot of air wrapping attests to this. It is a good looking and well made sink. It's not the heaver sinks like are sometimes in restaurants, but is was one third the price of these. For the price and for home use (I use it in a second laundry room in the basement and for a beer brewing sink), it will work fine. I literally broke the leg on one of those plastic sinks when I had 100 pounds of ice, a five gallon container of beer to be cooled, and more water. I am sure I will not have that problem with this sink--and it looks so much better.

First time buying from webstaurantsstore, quite impressed by their selection, price and super fast shipping. Bought this for my utility room to replace a much smaller and badly stain\ed plastic sink. Bought the faucet, 90 degree elbow and the 5 feet spray hose connecting to the spout from amazon, very happy with the results. The sink is solid and not wobbly and the fit my need perfectly. The rolled front and the back splash all make this a great choice. The packaging is minimum when I received it with a hole already, but no damage. I can wash my dogs much easier now. just get a shower mat from walmart and cut a hole in the middle.

The sink is of good quality, I installed it a garage, its the optimal size and for the gauge the price is great. I would have preferred a 16 gauge in this size option; it came with a drain basket, adjustments on legs are nice although I feel it does not drain correctly even though I have it leveled, seems to pool towards the back.

Wow! Best price locally was 50% more expensive and was used on top of it! Fits perfect and replaced my dingy plastic tub. Only regret was not purchasing the faucet to go with it. Quality is awesome.

This review is about sink, faucet and shelves. All products I have purchased have been exactly what I expected, a great value. Customer service (when needed) has been exceptional.

This 18" 16 gauge stainless steel one compartment commercial utility sink is makes for a great mop sink. Large enough bowl to put large buckets, or dump mop water without splashing.

One thing that is really important to know is that the bottom of this sink is flat. That means water will sit in the corners and not drain like a graded sink. That being said if that not a concern it’s a very clean nice looking sink made from heavy gauge material so it will hold up and last a long time. The tub is deep so that’s a plus.
