I'll just go ahead and pile on the top reviews here about this machine being defective. I've had the unit for 5 months and we noticed it slowly not producing as much ice like when we first purchased it. The past week we have noticed that the machine is stuck on a defrost cycle and will not go into harvest mode. We have to restart the unit completely to get it to start producing ice. Although coming in each morning to an empty bin and it stuck on a defrost cycle makes this thing useless. Having a tech out tomorrow but the guy says he's replaced some sort of valve that goes bad on this machine constantly. Avoid this machine.

We have used Manitowoc under counter ice machines in our restaurants for years. This unit has been a complete nightmare. Install is easy and fast, but this unit has had a faulty valve that has been replaced twice under warranty. We have had the unit for about three weeks and have had it operational making ice for a total of five days. We are now waiting on the shipment of a new valve to have it replaced again. We have contacted Manitowoc for a warranty replacement of a different model, but they are only willing to keep replacing the valve. The tech I spoke with said it is a known problem with the valves on the undercounter Manitowocs.

DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased this machine in May of 2022. I wanted it as a secondary machine to help with the summer rush. I have an older Manitowoc that I have had for over 6 years with relatively minor servicing needs. This machine arrived and we had about a week of ice before it started pushing hot water over the ice trays, not making much ice and the hot water would melt any ice that was in the bin. I attempted to work with Manitowoc to get the valve replaced (known as a harvest valve) but due to shortages, all valves were supposedly going to new machines and not to help service after the sale. I was told I had to wait without a known date of replacement. I contacted Webstaurant and was told to keep working with the Manufacture, but if I didn't get a resolve, I should Read More

Very disappointed with the installation guide. We have purchased 3 of these Manitowoc under counter ice machines over the years. This one is the first to have a 2nd drain orifice. There is nothing written about what this does and if it should be hooked up. We didn't know. Of course we had water all over the floor. when the Manitowoc tech person came the next day, he had to do some investigation to find out..Yea..this port needs a drain also. Why wouldn't they put this in the install instructions. The last two units never had anything like this. AND why is it there???..What does it do?? WHY, WHY, WHY???

Id love to give a review about the ice machine itself but i can because we have no way to hook up water. The water inlet on the back is supposed to be 3/8 but its not. We have attempted six different fittings from brass to plastic and nothing fits. I called Manitowoc and they didnt have an answer. They referred me to their installers and noone has called me back. Their water inlet is the female end when it should be the male end like every fridge, toilet line, sink line etc. Stupid design!!! If they are going to design that way then add the adapters for water lines.

I am very disappointed with this product. I've just received my delivery for my Ice machine on October 28, 2021 and only after two weeks of usage it is already defective and needs service.

All the one star reviews match our experience after purchasing this unit in 2021. It has been serviced around 14 times under warranty. It just started making ice slowly again and we're done with it now that it's out of warranty. We had the exact same size manitowoc under counter prior to this one for 15 years and replaced it proactively even though it still worked. This one has been A COMPLETE PILE OF GARBAGE.

What a nightmare. Purchased November 2022, installed February 2023. Has not been fully functional the entirety of the time we’ve been using the product, we didn’t even know until the first of three Manitowoc licensed technicians came out. We’ve had five visits from three techs and still no success. Machine doesn’t fill in over three days, the cubes are not hard enough, the float is off, the water coming in is somehow hot etc. Buyer beware, this model (or is it the brand?) is totally problematic. Waiting on parts at this point but after reading all these bad reviews I’m doubtful that will even help.

Constantly requiring maintenance. We have been in business for barely five months and have had to had this serviced twice- once a few weeks in where part of the motor broke randomly (and the maintenance tech had to fight to get it fixed for free under our warranty) and a second time where the water filter become randomly clogged and ruined- but this only caused an issue with the machine when we had to unplug it to sweep under it and the maintenance light came on seconds after we plugged it back in (after it only being unplugged for a minute).

This ice maker had been really great for our Juice, smoothie bar. It makes small ice cubes that easily fits into each cup with no problem. Easy to maintain and clean. We have had no problems with it .

This thing works great. Have had barely any issues with it since we bought. Makes ice as well as any other machine you could get.

Broke within first year of using. Even if under warranty the cost of labor is through the roof!

As with many other buyers of this defective product, my harvest valve needs to be replaced. Including the trip to diagnose the problem, the cost to replace the valve is half the cost of the machine. I purchased a Manitowoc on the premise I was buying a quality ice maker. Apparently not. Even though I run my business out of my residence, Manitowoc only gave a 1 year warranty because it is installed in a residence. Now I'm stuck with a worthless machine 16 months after purchase. I would give it zero stars if that was an option. Save your money. Buy something else. This is NOT a quality machine.

Ordering was easy. However, the delivered ice machine was a different model number than ordered. We ordered an air cooled model, the delivered model seemed to be a water cooled model. After calling Webstaurant for help, we were given the manufacturer phone number as Webstaurant didn't have tech support for this issue. Called the manufacturer and questions were answered and they also sent a YouTube video to explain fully the model we received. The model received is an air cooled unit. It's be installed now.

The unit works great! Produces plenty of ice for our needs. The only issue was that it arrived damaged- looked like something was stacked on top and bent the lid so it wouldn't close. Our maintenance team fixed it since we didn't want to send it back and wait for a replacement.

We purchased this Manitowoc ice machine from Webstaurant Store 3 and a half years ago and it's still going strong! Manitowoc produces excellent ice machines! Our first Manitowoc ice machine lasted 12 years with daily use; when we decided it was time for a new ice machine we were very happy to see that Webstaurant carried this brand! This ice machine is easy to take apart and clean (and put back together). We find we need to clean it every 3 to 4 weeks, being a bakery/café there's lots of flour in the air! The ice-thickness is very consistent. If your business use high amounts of ice, you may want a bigger machine. We do usually end up purchasing supplemental ice from the grocery store on exceptionally hot humid weekends as the ice machine can't always keep up with the high volumes of ice we need for iced coffee/tea/smoothies during a heatwave. Thankfully we live in Maine, and this ice machine is the perfect size for our space/our ice needs for 10/11 months of the year.

Great quality product, it makes more ice than the Scotsman same size. Put the recommended filter on and it makes life easier. City water isn’t very clean so we have to change the filter ever 1 1/2 to 2 months. I recommend putting a primary filter for large particles then the micron filter.

I order this ice machine because of my sister recommended it to me. She have it at her restaurant for 3 years and it’s been work great since day one.

We bought this ice machine to have at the bar. It does get a little loud when making the ice but not distracting loud and it doesn't last very long. We don't use the blue scoop that came with it, although it is a nice scoop and large if you were filling an ice bucket. We bought a small scoop and hung it on the side. We have not tried the timer to make the ice at a certain time yet. We empty it at the end of every week and it doesn't take long to fill back up with ice.

I love this ice maker. During the winter when it is slower you don't use as much ice. I use the ice in tubs to cool off my soups for the night to get him in the refrigerator quicker. The ice comes out very cleaning uniform shape

Very nice ice machine. Love it as it was as easy hook up the existing water line and plug it in and turn it on. In No time we had Ice!! It will be plenty big enough for our store

This Manitowoc NEO 26" Air Cooled Undercounter Half Dice Cube Ice Machine is the perfect size for our shop. I never run out of ice as it is continuosly making ice. Great price highly recommend to buy from Webstaurant.

This ice machine works great. We use it all the time and it has never messed up. It has a great capacity and makes ice quickly. It can be a little loud sometimes but using the delay ice making function helps solve that because you can schedule to have it make ice during less busy times.

Great unit , we replaced a large unit with this under the counter fridge. We were worried it wouldn't keep up but its been great

Great buy for small businesses. This machine is efficient and has a small footprint for small areas. Fits and works perfect for our server line. Makes ice quickly under manufacturing requirements for water and air temp, quite and efficient.

Bought this ice machine 3 years ago and it still works fantastically, I have never had any issues with any parts and installation is simple and easy.

In no time after I had the water hooked up and the machine plugged in, it was making ice. Really nice and quiet and makes ice super fast.

This ice machine is great! Really bumps, we keep ice in it all day long even though we use a lot of ice. Doesn't take long to fill up and the slide top makes it really easy to scoop ice quickly during a rush.

This Manitowoc ice machine is decent. There has been a couple of times where it wouldn't work correctly and was blinking red. I just pushed the wrench button on it and it worked fine after. The capacity is not as big or as much as you may think.

In rural America it can be a challenge when an ice machine that is used every day breaks down. We turned to Webstaurant and had our new Manitowoc in no time. We went with a little bigger model then what we had and this is our daily machine and is standing up well. Would recommend for the cost and durability.

We absolutely love this ice machine !! We were very limited of space between our hand washing sink and our three bowl sink and this fits perfectly !
