I saw this product compared and tested against other similar serrated bread knives. It was the best pick selection on America's Test Kitchen. It proved to be an excellent knife for me as well. It cut through a very crusty loaf of bread with ease, precision, and with uniform slices. The slightly offset handle keeps my knuckles from hitting the cutting board on the final cuts of a slice. It has nice balance. Quality steel also. I paired it with a Schraf 11 1/4 x 2-inch blade guard for the blade and my protection.

This bread knife keeps a sharp edge and is very durable. Cleans easily and has a great hand feel. The colors are fun. This is a must have knife in every chefs tool kit.

This is a great knife. The length, the handle shape, the grip, the level of offset are all just right. Bought this as it's the recommended knife of either America's Test Kitchen or Bon Appetit (can't remember), and it definitely lives up to the recommendation for breads, tomatoes, sandwiches, and more.

This is a great, very versatile knife. We use it to cut all sorts of food items. Razor sharp so staff must be careful using it. We hang it up on a wall mounted magnet for safety purposes.

Everything claimed by the Test Kitchen. Do not hesitate to buy this. It is one of the best values ever in the market.

The spine on this knife is a little thick, so it doesn't slice through bread as well as some thinner knives, but it comes razor sharp which makes up for that.

Wow! I had a serrated bread knife that had gotten dull, and so wanted a new one. This was recommended by ATK, I believe, so I decided to try it. I am thoroughly impressed! It is a ton better then the one I previously had, even when that one was brand new! I make a lot of homemade bread, especially an artisan no-knead loaf in my dutch oven. My previous knife smashed the bread before gripping and sort-of cutting it, which drove me nuts. This knife grips the bread and slices through it beautifully all the way to the bottom with almost no effort. The teeth on this knife are wonderful, and work like magic! I love having a knife that keeps my beautiful loaves of bread looking beautiful when sliced, instead of a smashed mangled mess.
