I've been using this santoku knife for some time now. I use it daily in the kitchen. It's thin just like the other millenia knives from mercer. It is easy to sharp but does not hold it's edge for long.

Great quality knife. I used to have one before but gave it to my friend. So I had to buy one again for my self. Here I am telling you how great it is From the feel of it to the sharpness

This Santoku knife keeps a sharp edge and is very durable. Cleans easily and has a great hand feel. The colors are fun. This is a must have knife in every chefs tool kit.

I use this knife for everything. It has stayed sharp and had a nice design that fits good in my hand. The handle has a rubber grip that keeps it from slipping if it gets wet. Highly recommend Mercer, I've been happy with them for everything.

I usually don't like Santoku knives, but decided to try this one. Happily surprised that I really like it. I still prefer my chef knife for speed chopping, but for dissecting large veggies/fruit, this was really great. The curved edge of the chef knife is unbeatable for rhythm, but the flat edge of this knife gives precision. I have both, and now I have the proper tool for every job.

Large blade, a good way to get the job done. the serrated edge cuts through veggies and is easy to clean. I have one in 2 colors!

It's a pretty good knife! Although, I prefer a knife that feels a bit more sturdy. I use this one for cutting brownies & biscotti, but I prefer the Genesis 7" model for both of those tasks. That said, this here still is a great knife!

Color coding makes designating this knife for raw chicken easy. Holds edge well and has not stained. I disinfect spray this knife frequently; no damage to handle. Can't be the Mercer knives for quality and price.

This Mercer Santoku 7" knife is GREAT. I didn't even have to sharpen it the first several days I had it. Now I sharpen it every morning, I prep all my veggies for the day the cut sandwiches and wraps with it all day. It still cuts well at the end of the day.
