ordered these coats, and they shipped from the manufacture, took way way way too long. could not get help on reason for the delay, strongly suggest any buyers pick out different coats.

I have to say, I am quite impressed with the quality of this jacket. My first purchase from Mercer Culinary via webstaurantstore. Previous purchases were from Bragard USA ( a highly regarded French name), however the quality of the fabric, it's design and comfort far surpassed the French brand ( by far). I confess I saw this jacket on Hell's Kitchen as given to the Black jacket finalists by Gordon Ramsay. It looked good on them, it looks GREAT on me. A previous reviewer pointed out the chest pocket was sewn shut, and it is. Not sure why textile companies do this, but I have seen this before... just have to get a razor and CAREFULLY cut the thread, no big deal. Also another user commented on the buttons. I personally love the quality of the push through buttons. you can button this left or right style Read More

This is my favorite of five jackets. Costs twice what the others run, but worth it for the extra punch to set myself apart. Sleeves are a little long and I think I will shorten by 4" to get closer to a 3/4-sleeve, but an overall very nice look and quality fabric.
