It's an okay vacuum. The C2401-010 straight wand would be better for residential cleaning especially underneath beds. Suction is stronger in the middle on the floor attachments. Not easy to swap out the attachments fast. Don't use unless 100% sure! No refund if used.

One of the best investment I've made since working for this company. This unit has saved me literally hours when cleaning a school which has 4 floors. Using the upright vacuum cleaner to clean each floor took twice as long then the Backpack vacuum. With the upright unit, I have to ... Plug and unplug from wall because of the short cable, emptying the unit upon cleaning each floor, carrying the unit to each floor, hard to reach places without moving the furniture or chairs. With the BackPack Hoover Vacuum, The long cable allows me to cover more area before I have to unplug. I purchased this amazing vacuum after I had reclaimed wooden floors installed that are over 100 years old. I didn't want to drag a traditional vacuum across my new/old floors and boy was I thrilled with the results. Yes... the suction is great! I get my 2700 square foot house done without unplugging and it cuts my cleaning time in half. I tell everyone at work how much fun it is to vacuum and they think I'm nuts but they want the web site to order from. :)) Bev

The vac works well, but clogs quickly when cleaning very fine dust (drywall). I am cleaning up after a construction crew that left a huge mess and after about 15 minutes of use, the thermal switch trips, you have to clean out the dust bag, and wait for the motor to cool down before starting again. The cool down period is about 30 minutes. I would give it 5 stars for home use, but for a commercial vac, I am not super impressed. Still a great deal for the price.

Uh............WOW! I am a guy, 64 years old and have done my share of vacuuming. My wife researched this product and I was the first to use it in my home. Unreal. I took it into my shop and used it and the dust is gone and in seconds. The coolest thing is you are not pushing around a system. You are moving a very light weight wand with amazing power. Have been cleaning a "farm store" with a dry mop for years. Was looking for a quicker and much more effecient way to get up all the mystery stuff and thought a backpack vac would be the ticket. This has cut my cleaning time in half! I vacuum everything; chairs, ceilins, stairs, hardfloors, bathrooms, etc! WOW. Am ordering a 2nd one - with the carpet attachment. Can't wait. Would highly recommend both types as I also have back issues, but have NO problems using this machine for long periods of time. I just recieved my Hoover BackPack vacuum and WOW!, it is excellent. I have a large residence that we just moved into, which is all hardwood floors and area rugs and 2 staircases. The Hoover snapped together in a few minutes, then I quickly adjusted the straps fof the harness and off I went. Vacuum most of the house without moving the cord once. Suction is phenominal, tools are high quality and easy to use. The small brush makes short work out of the baseboard and staircases and the wide floor tool takes care of the large areas in short-order. It's weight is not uncomfortable to wear, but you do know it's there. It is quiet for a machine with this much suction. I highly recommend this machine. Shawn Killingworth, CT

We purchased this unit to reap the benefits of a mobile backpack unit. The quality and durability of this unit is very impressive. We had done a lot of research on backpack vacuums, and came to the conclusion that this was the best product for the price. The strength of this unit is very impressive. The attachments and ability to change out the length of the power chord allows this unit to increase our productivity far and above using a regular upright vacuum. We highly recommend.

This is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned. I recieved it Friday, got it out of the box, strapped it on, hummed the Ghostbusters theme song, and went to town. We have a large house, all wood, with 9' ceilings at the minimum. I was first impressed by the fantastic suction--this thing has POWER!!! You have to be a little careful, the vacuum latched onto a magazine my husband had under the bed and the magazine lost. I like that, no more wimpy vacuuming. Second, I can reach HIGH. This is the best vacuum I've ever owned. I own a small cleaning company, and clean large buildings, and this machine cut my vacuuming time in half. It is light weight and much quieter than my commercial upright machine. I am thinking about ordering a second one.

This backpack vac is sweet! I go through the whole house and do from floor to ceiling. I've never had so much fun cleaning! Never even have to replug it, because of the long cord and i have a big house. I will never go back to regular vacs that sit on the floor.

Having used other backpack units, this one rates as one of the best. The price makes it even better to own and operate. We plan to purchase several more for our business.
